Here is an article that makes sense in a lot of ways.

https://www.theguardian.com/science/brain-flapping/2016/aug/25/beyond-burkinis-why-science-suggests-all-clothes-should-be-banned?CMP=share_btn_tw

Office politics would be changed forever, and likely for the better with a ban on clothing.

“I rise early almost every morning and sit in my chamber, without any clothes whatever, half an hour or an hour, according to the season, either reading or writing.”
Ben Franklin

My office has a "no clothes" policy. I work from home, so it is only me...But it's a start.

Makes sense to me. He cites a list of good reasons to ban clothing and then says its all stupid. His reasons are sound. His conclusion contradicts his arguments. People would get used to it in minutes, not "eventually." And it would save $$ trillions. The only big losers would be the textile/clothing/shopping industries. MONEY is on the side of marketing products you don't need or want to be forced to use.

I must have missed something. I don't get why funerals would be less somber. Is he saying that naked people all look silly? Or, that old people look ugly? Perhaps he is saying that mourners couldn't all wear black? I don't get the connection.

Too many societies ban too many things already. Let's not advocate another ban on something we object to. Instead we should be promoting personal freedom. Let people decide for themselves what, if anything, they want to wear. If those with a compulsion to wear clothes choose to be offended by public nudity, so be it. They'll probably get over it.

Not lewd, not crude, just nude.

Nudists are everywhere, but they're hard to identify with their clothes on.

With all of the department stores that are closing, and many afraid of using the internet to order clothing, it may come to the point that nudism is the way to go!

yes I would like to be in a society where you chose what to wear or not wear.
of course if it was instituted tomorrow, it might be awkward to show up at the office naked,
but hey what could they say?

I agree David! It would take a lot of nerve to be one of the first...especially in the main stream places...work, mall, etc...but someone would have to get the ball rolling. Places like the beach or backyard would be easier. It would probably start out slowly but I think once it started... would gain momentum quickly. We can dream...right??

I'm working from home today, it's 35 outside and I'm naked inside. Works for me today but not all days.
