Carnival Legend Will Sail A Two-Week Nude Cruise in 2021
What better way to celebrate National Nude Day than by booking passage on the Carnival Legend for their longest trip ever: The Big Nude Boat 2021 will spend two whole weeks sailing the waters of the Caribbean.
“On the last day of every cruise,” says the website for the group, “what we hear most from our Bare Cruisers is that time really flew by. Everyone asks whether the could stay aboard a little longer and the answer has always been no… until now. You asked and we answered. For our 75th nude cruise Bare Necessities has chartered a one-of-a-kind two-week cruise aboard the Carnival Legend!”
Departing out of Tampa on February 14, 2021, the ship will make stops at Mahogany Bay (Roatan), Colon, Cartagena, Bonaire, Curacao, San Juan and Nassau, as well as enjoying five sea days, before returning to Tampa on February 28th.
“Passengers have requested longer cruises,” says the group’s site, “and many have extended their vacation by taking an admittedly less fun [clothed] cruise before or after our charter. European and Aussie travelers have said they want longer cruises to make flying across the pond or from Down Under truly worthwhile. This cruise is the answer to everyone who has said they wanted more! More time in the sun, more crystal clear warm water for skinny dipping, more interesting ports of call, more sea days to soak up some rays and more fun aboard a ship that is a passenger favorite: the sleek, fast, over-the-top Carnival Legend!”
As usual, the group charters the entire boat. It’s important to note that while Bare Necessities cruises are clothing free (and have been since they were launched in 1990), this isn’t a ship full of swingers.
In fact, quite the opposite is true. “Our mission,” their website explains, “is to provide relaxing, entertaining and health-conscious vacation opportunities that offer non-threatening, natural environments where the appreciation, wonder and compatibility of nature and the unadorned human form can occur.”
While this will be the 31st edition of the Big Nude Boat, Bare Necessities has actually hosted over 75 different sailings over the years, earning themselves a stellar reputation among not only nudists but also the crews of the ships upon which they’ve sailed.

Hi Willy, I've never been on a nude cruise, or any cruise for that matter, but WOW it sounds neat! I guess it could be two weeks with no elastic, unless you took a side trip, etc. Have you ever been on one? I suppose they announce when it is OK to be nude and not. For instance, I've read where you have to dress coming into port. Are you going?

I would love to do this cruise as I am planning on retiring at the end of 2020!!! Thought it would be a great "reward" for finishing with the rat race!
Funny story....a few years ago our nudist friends tell us they are going on a nude cruise out of Port Canaveral. I figure great, we're camping right there at Jetty Park and we can wave them on their journey. When I get home I look up the cruise that they are on and see that it advertised as a "Lifestyle" cruise...Hmmmm they never indicated they were swingers. So they get home and were totally embarrassed - yep it was a "Lifestyle" cruise that they booked by mistake just thinking it was a nude cruise. My buddie's wife spent the week reading a book on their patio - nude of course and buddy said he he got quite an eye full roaming around!
