This quarantine is making a HUGE damper on my naked time. With the kids home 24/7, my only naked time is in my bedroom or when I’m able to slip out on the back deck in the morning while they are still sleeping.

Dang Willy, I can relate! The Prof and I were so used to being naked all the time when the girls were little. When they stopped being naked with us, around 12 yrs old, we had to pick our times accordingly so we were covered when they were home. Then... Summer break!… they were home all the time! With this damn virus... you get NO BREAKS! Feel for you!!!

Empty nest came quicker than we thought and when they came home for their breaks and Summer, the Prof and I hit the beach, club and PS resorts!

My wife is a "social-but-not-home-nudist"; and I was curious from the get-go what effect 18 days of confinement will have as far as nudity in our home.

Well yesterday - and it is just Day 2 of "shelter-at-home" here - after briefly going out (she's a bit of a germaphobe) she immediately ditched her clothes after getting home. She then decided to just stay naked after showering as she felt "safer" not putting any clothes back on.
Unfortunately her job requires camming, so she has to stay dressed while she works. But it will be interesting to see if/how the pandemic affects her relationship to clothing at home over the course of the next two/three weeks.

I think my wife will not be the only person who sees nudity as more practical when stuck in the home for days on end. I don't think that will necessary increase the nudist population though, as many of these people will return to their usual "textile" routine when it's safe gain to return to work.

But I do "feel" for people who live with non-nudists. The pandemic will probably mean even less nudity for them. Ugh...

Luckily I am retired so when the weather warms up a bit I will be heading for the back garden for plenty of naked sunbathing. Sue , my better half still works, for a lawyer no less but her boss is considered a key worker and she cannot work from home. I am a little worried about this but cannot do a lot about it. I will have to get the tan on her behalf !!

Like so many of you, we are self isolating. It's just the Prof and I living in this home and because we've been living naked as close to 24/7 as one can truly get, for decades, this quarantine hasn't changed our lives much. The only change is that we are mildly forced to remain isolated or stay at home. I do go out and hit a drive thru every few days just to switch up the meal menu. Now that my car is in the garage, it's easy to jump in it naked and go to the drive thru at the bank, Starbucks and food drive thru. We've been naked and isolated for over 2 weeks now, with just one visit by our youngest grandson and a 10 min visit curbside by our daughter, son in law and granddaughter celebrating her 14th Bday during this crisis. She is a trooper and taking it in stride!

Still getting outside naked everyday, even in the rain. Keep up the goal RoofTopWilly set for being naked everyday outside this year. It's been a challenge because of the cold, wind and rain but I've not missed a day since Jan 1st, 2020!

So even though we are supposed to be quarantined, the two youngest went to their dads this evening and the oldest went out for a little bit. So I got some naked time in. Was able to grill naked out on the back deck.

Sweet... Good for you Willy! In contrast, we will put some clothes on for an hour or so to visit with one of our granddaughters this afternoon. We did this the other day with another granddaughter for her birthday. This is difficult with the recommended safe distancing and not being able to hug them. When this is over, we may very well squeeze the life out of all of them! hahaha

Enjoy that naked time when you can!

I'm lucky we have a neighbor lady next door here that too is a nudist though she rarely comes out of the house either. So I'm spending my quarantine nude in the backyard everyday. Usually reading or listening to music.

I got a bit more time in yesterday. Went to the grocery store. When I came home, her oldest son was still sleeping (in the basement) so I stripped down and unloaded the car and put all of the groceries away naked.

But that all came to an end. Both of the younger kids came back home already. Her son came back last night and daughter came back today. On top of that, the oldest’s girlfriend came back today too.

I just finished a video call with my friend and colleague - and fellow nudist! - Dr. B, who is an intensive-care specialist with a worldwide reputation. After the initial pleasantries, his first words were, "People have no idea what's really going on." We are all stuck at home, inundated with numbers and graphs and, too often, conflicting information about the spread of this damned virus. Dr. B, on the other hand, is in the trenches taking care of the most desperately ill, and he describes it as "like nothing I have ever seen in my entire career", which for him is really saying something. It is true that most people infected with SARS-Cov-2 will not develop serious symptoms, but those that do can deteriorate with stunning speed. Dr. B described cases in which patients go from 'a little short of breath' to 'intubated and fighting for their lives' in a matter of six hours. His ICU is full of Covid-19 patients, and half of them are under age 65.

I am not posting this in order to cause panic. Most of us will be fine in the long run. But do not underestimate the seriousness of what we are facing. Be smart. Be safe.

Thanks for posting! We are a time when there is lots of information and misinformation going around. We all need to take a few extra precautions and watch out for each other.
We will get through this!

Thanks for all of the info. My girlfriend is a respiratory therapist so she is right in the trenches as well. I hear it from her every day. She’s been doing this for 20 years now and says this one is the worst she’s seen yet.
One of my coworkers, who I just worked with last weekend, may have it. As of 2 days ago, he was in the ICU and on a ventilator. They were waiting for the results to come back. I’ve had cold like symptoms all week myself.

Please, everyone, isolate yourselves as much as possible, if only for the sake of others. On the last page there are some examples of what not to do, from people who should know better.

I am in an 'at risk' group, >77 y.o., previous heart attack and stroke. My wife is in hospital following a hip fracture and she has had colon cancer several times (and survived). This coronavirus could kill either, or both, of us if we pick it up from other people's carelessness. 'Social distancing' and thorough, careful, handwashing are so important!
