Not far from the formerly family nudist resort, Lupin, is The Sequoians. It's a small club, and it is very easy to meet people who will converse with you. It's also less expensive than Lupin ($35 for a single), while Sequoians is only $25 for a single.
The latter has a nice kitchen, in which you can make you own meals. On Saturdays, they have a potluck dinner. Their pool is nice and warm, relatively speaking. The membership fees are very reasonable. If you volunteer for work details, your annual fee is cut in half, after the first year is up.
So, if in the Bay Area, check out The Sequoians in Castro Valley, CA. (not named after Fidel Castro!!)
I had not known about the lifestyle situation at Lupin. I've only been there once, and I'm not all that observant as to what is going on around me. Thanks for the info, Chiefy!!

Hi all:
In November 2023, Lupin Lodge was put on the market for sale, asking for $32.8M USD. I haven't heard anything since. Has anyone heard what's going on with this?
