I visited one of Texas's newest nudist clubs this weekend and I was very impressed. From the club's warm welcome by congenial owners, Dale and Fluffy, to the immaculately kept grounds the visit was a delight.
They've been there just two years now and have not only cleared part of the beautiful 45 wooded acres, they've managed to construct spotless washrooms and showers. But that's not all, they've built an excellent sand volleyball court, pavillion, community kitchen for potlucks, swimming pool, and various courts like badminton, croquet, petanque, etc. to keep folks occupied. In addition to their own efforts they have secured the support of the local county commissioners who are bending over backward to help them get going in the community (their exact words were: "How can we help?"). Now there's a refreshing change.
On the drawing board, a community store (bread, milk, and staples) which fronts on a major road but sits on the nudist club grounds. This is an excellent way to establish good community relations and show the local populace that we nudists don't really have three heads. Also, a full mobile home and RV park.
The club's friendly members add to the homey feel and remind me of my original enthusiasm for the family oriented nudist club. This club has an excellent future and I give it 5 stars.

Hello Veal,
This message was also posted on ClothesFreeForums.com:
=== Thanks for the trip report. Some friends of mine have visited Lone Star, and also enjoyed the club.
Did they mention how far they are from having rental accommodations (rooms, cabins, trailers) for folks who don't have an RV, and don't want to tent-camp? ===
If anybody's interested, Lone Star Resort has a web site at: [http://lonestarresort.com/]
