A question: What do you do when that time of the month comes? How do you deal with it?

Daisy, Cut the string short if you wear a tampon or even tuck in the string. If you wear pads, you can wear a bathing suit bottom or shorts.

I always have used pads, so I just wear panties. I don't go to nude resorts, but if I did and they didn't allow clothing, I would have to adapt to tampons with short-cut string.

Daisy, I generally take my 'heavy days' as days in which I have to wear clothes. My daughters and I don't plan beach trips for those days. For most of the week, though, do as Cheri suggested and wear a tampon.

I can only use my imagination about that, Annie, LOL. You sound right, though as far as my little mind can tell. The only analogy I can conjure up is having gotten past the acne age of my teens, and watching it disappear in my rear-view mirror. Congratulations on your "promotion," Annie!!

At past Phi Nu events that I attended, several times women who had previously been nude wore cut-off shorts or bathing suit bottoms. There was no discussion or controversy, and I believe everyone got the obvious message. No hassle, no problem, all went smoothly. I have read of the exact same happening elsewhere as being "no big deal."

Me too, Annie. But for the women who are a bit younger than we are, it's no big deal to wear something on bottom or cut and tuck the string.
