Knowing that Wilma has passed through not only Florida but has hit much of the Carri bean, does anyone know of reports to damages to naturist resorts in that area?

The following information is the latest we have regarding Hurricane Wilma damage to the Mayan Riviera. If you have booked reservations with us for dates prior to the listed re-opening of any of these resorts, please contact us immediately.
Please note that all opening dates are first estimates. Changes in opening dates may occur due to various external factors as further impact and damage assements are done. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hidden Beach Resort First Impact assessment: NO STRUCTURAL DAMAGE HAS OCCURRED. The Swim-up suites have been flooded. The pool is filled with sand and large parts of the hotel grounds are covered with sand and debris. The thatched roof beach palapas have been damaged.
Estimated opening date: Due to the fact that no structural damage has occurred, the current estimated opening date is November 08, 2005. The hotel will be closed for arrivals before this date. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Desire Resort & Spa
After an extensive visit and evaluation which took place 10/25/2000 by the Management and Engineers it was determined that Desire Resort & Spa will open tentatively on December 20, 2005. This date is still tentative as is it based on a first evaluation; however, it is believed that it would not open before this date. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cancun Resorts & Hotels The status of Blue Bay Getaway Resort and other Cancun strip properties is unknown at this time. From reports we've seen... some resorts received mostly superficial damage while damage at other resorts and to the Cancun infrastructure was severe. We will update the website news page (http://castawaystravel.com/news01.htm) as more information becomes available. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cozumel Resorts & Hotels The island of Cozumel took a direct hit from Wilma. Damage assessments have been "sketchy" at best, but all reports indicate severe damage to most if not all the major resorts.

Recent hurricane damages to resorts?
