Hey all, Ive been a nudist all my life but have never been actively social with other nudists. I was hoping to meet and hang out with other nudists in the Chicago area.
I'm a male in my 20's and have always wanted to break out of my shell and meet other people with my same interests. Please respond if you are in the area, i would like to meet other nudists, Thanks!

I have been a practing nudist since August. I met George and Carol in September and joined CSC. It has been a great experience. George and Carol have been a great resource on nudism along with this forum. CSC is a non landed organization but is full of welcoming people. I have been bowling with them since sept and have always felt like one of the group.

I will be in Fayettville NC the week of thanksgiving. Is there nudist events or clubs I can attend that are with an hours drive. Though my wife and I are AANR members she is still not confortable attending so I will be alone.

Rich, I can very much recommend Whispering Pines, I believe to be the closest park to Fayetteville, NC. Not sure exactly how far. It is clothing optional except in the pool and hot tub. Your wife is welcome to accompany you and stay clothed. If you are alone though, I don't think there will be a problem. When you call them at 1-888-LUV-A-TAN, speak with Carol. Tell her Cheri Alexander referred you. It's a great place to relax and unwind. Jerry (her husband) makes great barbecue.
Their daily grounds fees are under $20/day. They do have nice rental facilities also.
You'll be about 3 hrs. from me while at Whispering Pines. We have no plans that week at all except lazing in our hot tub.
When next you see George & Carol, please say hi for me.

Thanks cheri.
I just saw them last week at bowling and told them you were recommonding CSC. They say hello. I am continually amazed of the friendlyness and welcoming nature of the nudist community. I have only been to three CSC functions but each time I keep meeting new and interesting people. I will make a point of visiting Wispering Pines at least for a few hours. Is it too cold?
George and Carol have been wonderful and full of advice. I would enjoy meeting you talking with you about how you became involved in nudism. George believes it will take at least a year before my wife might try visiting a landed club though we are both member of AANR and CSC.

Rich, Who knows what the weather will be in a week or two. This week is wonderfully warm. Even if it is too cool to be nude on the trails or in the pool, the hot tub and grounds are delightful. This might be a great time to bring your wife out since it will probably be cool enough to be clothed without questions. We live about 4 hrs. from Atlanta, less than 10 miles off of I-77 at exit 9. For exact directions let's take that to email (cheridonna@prodigy.net).

Hi chitownguy. I live in Elgin. My wife doesn't approve of social nudity. I wanted to go bowling with CSC but I can't seem to talk her into it. I've been trying for a year. I just joined this forum today. I would like to meet other locals also. I'd like to maybe have a get together for a Bears game, play cards or something. I figure maybe the wife will feel more comfortable in our own home. She will not get naked though. Somehow I must convince her that nudists are not perverts. She is pretty stubborn. Let me know if we can get a group of couples togeher.

Tom, I'm sure if you speak with George Morrison and the CSC leadership, your wife might be able to remain clothed. I've always been chilly at bowling alleys.

I'm glad to be here. I wish I could get my wife to even think about coming clothed. She doesn't understand why I want to socialize nude. I'm afraid I can't even get her to be nude at home. She says she just doesn't like it. We've been married a long time and now that the kids are gone, I realized how much I loved being nude. She was taken by surprise that I wanted to become a nudist. It took her a few weeks of her seeing me nude around the house all the time to figure out I was serious. That was a year and a half ago. Oh well, she is considering going bowling with me. Clothed but that's okay. I contacted CSC last year and they were friendly and understanding. I'm hoping to be able to go this year. I know once she meets a few nudists she'll see they are just "normal" people. It's important to me that she meets the right people and not the "perv's". Wish me luck. Talk again soon.

I'm from Chicago also, and looking for some nudist activities during the winter months since the clubs are closed. I am a male age 47, and married. My wife has been with me to a nudist club once, and although she said she understood how I could enjoy the experience, she really didn't like seeing others nude.
I would like to try one of the CSC's activities and was wondering how they would feel about married men attending alone? If anyone can help me, I sure would appreciate it.
I've been a member of AANR for 6 years now, and I think it's a great assn.

ah2benude, Why not contact them? I did last year and they were fine with it. The only thing is they like to keep the male/female ratio in line. My wife is the same as yours although she's never gone with me. I asked her to attend just one time and if she felt uncomfortable still, then at least let me go by myself. She finally got naked with me at home for the first time the other night for two hours. She didn't really like it. She just turned fifty and is about 25 pounds overweight. I think she looks great for her age but she's self concience.
