Hi. I will be traveling to the greater NY area in a few weeks. I guess that the beach is out of the question this time of year .... Can anyone recommend a good location for me to spend the first half of a day. An indoor pool + facilites I guess.
A number of nonlanded clubs have swims all winter. PennSylvan has an indoor pool. They require that you be an AANR member either before visiting or upon arrival. If you or anyone here needs AANR and/or TNS membership, I'll gladly facilitate it through my club.
If you are going to be in the NYC area, I belong to a club called Travasuns. We rent a gym once a month that has a pool, sauna, steam room. We dance and play wally ball (that volleyball in a racketball room). Theres also food (no soup of couse). Its in LI,mabe an hr drive from Manhattan.
