Hi Cheri,

I am a 56 year old male wanting to pose nude for figure drawing. Therefore, I have some questions about a few things. I have never been to a nudist camp yet. But I would like to try it. Are there female artist that do figure drawing outside? I would like to try posing outside. I'm not comfortable posing for a large art class male artist. Thus, I am looking for a female artist to pose for in a private are study.

Please let me know your opinion on this.
Sincerely,
Will

I don't know if there are a plethora of female artists who want to draw figures. The classes for which I posed was comprised of men AND women.

You say that you've not been to a nudist park yet. Have you been to ANY nudist venue, ie. a beach, nonlanded club, etc.? Are you currently just a home nudist?

Hi Cheri,

First of all I had to write so fast yesterday that I was afraid I made a lot of mistakes. I apologize. I also noticed that my other question wasn't answered. Since I'm new to the site I still need to learn certain things. Can you at least give me a "yes or no" on my other question. It was an important question I was asking you.

Cheri, no I've never been to any nudist camp. In fact, I've never been nude outside. Yet, this is something I would really like to experience. I'm a 56 years old white male, 5"9" tall, 185 pds. I have a very athletic type built. I've always tired to stay in shape. Thus, some people might think of me at my age as looking like an old person. I think they would be surprised. I would like to be able to run nude and go for power walks nude etc. To be truly honest with you I feel I have some exhibitionism in me, in good taste, that just what's to be seen by the opposite sex. Thus, I would enjoy being seen nude by women in general. Would this be considered wrong or in bad taste in a nudist camp setting? I'm not talking about walking around excited saying, hey, look at me. I'm just saying, I would enjoy being observed in the nude by woman. Again, I have a lot to learn about being a nudist. Please share with me your thoughts.

Warmest Regards,
Will

Cheri, can you give me any information about clothing optional nudist camps. Maybe this would be a good place for me to start. Also, are there any nudist camps where the ratio is higher for women than men. For me personaly, I would prefer a camp like that. I get along a lot better with women than I do with men. Hence, I have very few men friends. I just find women more interesting to talk with and to be around.

To see what nudist venues are in your area, Will, go to www.nudistparksusa.net and insert your zip code. I am not familiar with every nudist park or nonlanded club in the US; therefore, I cannot say if it's more male than female. To be a nudist, you do not have to be nude outdoors. When the temperatures outside dip to too cold, nudists haven't lost their sense with their clothes, nudists put something on.

Exhibitionism is definitely not nudism. Nudism is about de-stressing, relaxing, and getting back to innocense. It's not about seeing and being seen.
