Fact is that people do fall for the scams and there is a lot more cleverer ones out there than the those mentioned in this conversation. I suppose it could be said that posting on any subject is a waste of our valuable time.

I've gotten several e-mails wanting me to update the records supposedly at banks I never used or dealt with. I'm sure that a few background facts, dates, names and account numbers would have greatly "updated" their records.
