No Topic Needed In This Thread - Topic-Free Zone
There was a good suggestion for an "off topic" topic, where the Admin won't gripe at you for ignoring the subject!
And so, drum roll please, the moment we have been waiting for has finally arrived! In this thread, and this thread only, it matters not what the subject is, nor if there was a subject in the first place. So, what's new with you?

Good for you. I only gained back 10 of th 40 lbs I lost last year. Looking forward to warmer weather here. I will be in Las Vegas next week. I have learned to only go the the buffet once day. I also try to walk that off.

Hello, I am kinda new to nudism, naturism started on my own last summer at Gunnisons. Can anyone tell me how to get the courage to walk up to someone both of us totally nude and strike up a conversation? To this point I have just roamed anonomously. Thanks

Last year was my first time nude in public too, at Gunnison. I was mostly talking to people from a distance and then see how the conversation goes, than you introduce yourself and ask if it's ok to sit by them. I've noticed the people at Gunnison are very friendly. I did a lot of talking to people while in the water. The most important thing is to maintain eye contact when talking to them

Well, at least for now, Nudism is a refuge, a place away from Hillary, Barak, Rudy, Mitt, and those other loud clowns. Too early!

This is from another thread, but it is off-topic to that thread, so I thought I'd place it here.
I write this as an apology to Fireprof. FireProf, it was my error... a misnomer. Public servant may have been the proper term years ago, but it wasn't what I intended anyways. I meant something along the lines of "in service to the public", "serving the public", and "prominant local figures in the employ of the public." Sorry for the miscue!

I greatly appreciate all of the feedback on this but some have missed the point entirely. To dispute Fireprof, yes teachers are public servants, as are firemen.

About my Avatar I do not have a computer. I have a MSNTV box. It hooks to my TV like a VCR resulting in a 36" monitor. I surf the web from my Lazy Boy. I can use the remote or the wireless keyboard. The great side benifit is I get NO SPAM. The system has limits (no hard drive, I CAN NOT disable the popup blocker for example). I don't need to worry about worms or viruses etc. I have enough trouble with the computers at work. I'm really not a couch potato. I don't even have cable.

Tuesday Chat Reminder 8pm Eastern
Tuesday Chat Reminder 8pm Eastern
Our naturist/nudist chat takes place every Tuesday after 8pm Eastern time. People from all over the globe join in, and we're inviting you to be part of this fun time using PalTalk.com, a small downloadable program.
Below are explicit directions. We hope you join us. 1.) Open browser (Explorer, Netscape, etc.) 2.) In Address or URL field enter: http://www.paltalk.com 3.) Screen on right middle side will have <click> button to: "Download Pal talk for FREE" 4.) If not asked for download, "Click here to Download" in the left most top center. 5.) <Click> on save and put it on your desktop, where you can find it most easily. Note: if using a dial-up modem, it will take some time but do not be alarmed; this Chat group is really worth the wait. The DSL or Cable download will be quicker. The file name is pal_install_r17704.exe a little over 5 meg * The client program part works great with dial-up lines.* 6.) Close all programs and click on the icon of the pal_install_r17704.exe on your desktop. If asked, install usual/recommended features. 7) The Paltalk program will add an icon to your desktop and/or start up folders. 8.) Connect to the internet and click on desktop icon. A mini window will popup asking for your ID or ask if you are a new user. <Click> on new user. You can use a nickname or even your real name. 9.) You will be given a confirmation ID sent to your e-mail address that is required for getting a log in. 10.) Use that confirmation ID and password to get into system. 11.) You will notice that the Pal talk window looks much like a messenger chat window much like Yahoo Messenger. 12.) In the center top of the Pal talk Messenger window is the Chat group, click on that <tab> 13.) Select the browse for all groups and another window will come up. NOTE: you will have to <click> on the Adult consent in the upper left had corner to get into the groups that we are under. 14.) From the selection on the left you can <click> on Adult & drill down to <Conversations> 15.) You can find us under: Nudist resorts org (no punctuation) 16.) Most times the group usually starts after 8pm. The room is open only when a Moderator is available. If you don't see the group at 8pm, click on the refresh shortly, and it will show up. After you enter the group, add as a favorite so you can find it quickly the next time you want to join the chat. 17.) Enjoy the chat. There are people joining in from around the globe.
Hugs, Cheri

This is why I don't own a computer! Also, I type WAY too slowly to do anything live.

We've been using it for several years; I've never had a problem as far as viruses and the like.
It's super meeting and just chatting with online friends. In fact, we're having a Cyberfriend Gathering over National Nude Weekend 7/12-16 at Whispering Pines ( www.whisperingpinesnudistresort.com) Cheri
