Actually iamanudist spent about twenty minutes reading all the replies here and left without comment. I think it is up to the Admin or the moderator to follow up on this troll.
After reading the first thread started about a year ago by the same individual where they were for want of a better description forcing their 18-yr daughter to wear the same such clothing as some had put it “making her dress like a ho.” Why are they now surprised that their 16-yr old daughter wants to dress the same way as her older sister?
From what I saw it looked like it was “edited” down to just a couple of words. Question, IF someone had quoted the original post, would it have changed with the recent editing??? Just answered it by going to the second page where Balto Bob, had replied. Also on that line of questioning there were several posts not too long ago that only showed up as a period in the list of active topics, and the original post appeared to have been removed. What happened there?
I still think that the advice that I gave earlier is still correct we shouldn’t worry so much about the “what if’s” that it prevents us from enjoying our lives. But the threads started by this individual and their lack of follow-up does tend to suggest someone who is trying to get justification for the way that they’re dressing their daughters. Or some kind of entertainment out of their posts and our responses.
And “speaking” of that let’s follow the “timeline” there.
About a year ago she posts that she’s made certain “rules” for how her then 18-yr old is to dress IF she wishes to continue living at home, i.e. as some have phrased it IF her 18-yr old didn’t dress as a “ho” or “slut” she’d be out on the street.
Now a year or so later her 16-yr old is starting to dress in the same manner, and NOW she’s concerned with whether or not this is appropriate, I can’t help but wonder if next year it’ll be her 12 or 14-yr old daughter. Who is dressing like this, what might be better for this family is to find a nice nudist/clothing optional resort and purchase either a trailer or condo, or townhouse and live there 24/7/365. That way her daughters will be able to go nude and not have to worry at all about what they are or aren’t wearing.
On that note what I would really like to see happen her in the UsofA (even though I know the odds of it happening are slim to none). Is the formation of a totally 100% nude community (not the type of “pesudeo-community” that is found at a lot of the nudist/clothing optional resorts around the country) i.e. members who live there the whole year round, but a whole town where except for the following reasons:
A) weather/environmental
B) workplace/sports safety
C) un-potty trained babies
D) women if they want to when it’s “that” time of the month
Everyone goes nude, and there is in place law enforcement, as well as the other related emergency services, a school system, grocery stores, movie theaters, bowling allies, post office, etc., etc. ya know the whole ball of wax.
Then it would not matter one iota what the kids wore to school because they would literally all be wearing the exact same thing that cost ‘em and their families the exact same amount of money. Which would eliminate what I am sure is one of the biggest reasons that kids pick on each other, i.e. their parents have bought them the “wrong clothes.” Of course I guess they could start picking on each other over who has the nicest towel to sit on in class, study hall, lunchroom. . . . Kids sadly will be kids, and they’ll find anything to pick on or harass another student over. It doesn’t matter if it’s the most innocent of things like either a boy or a girl going without undergarments or someone with a handicap or medical condition. They’ll find something to pick on.

The whole thing is strange. I often will click on other posts someone has made when they don't have much of a bio. By seeing their posts I can often learn about them. Folks often don't tell us where they live, even a country. If you are interested in beaches and resorts in FL,I figure you live near or at least visit there and not New Zealand. Although folks like Pete Knight make it difficult. In responce to the other point. A member recently went to the trouble of deleting ALL their posts including the ones that started 2-3 threads. They showed up on the active topics due to the editing.

Herman (Digital_Cowboy) observed the same regression in the "daughter's" age as I did. There are threads I stay away from due to plausibility issues and because of the sexual implications. Perhaps the Moderator can ferret some of these pseudo-nudist postings and delete them.
It's not entirely out of the realm of possibility that an innocent male walking in the woods can come upon a group of ravenous nudist Lolitas...it's just not very likely in a hundred lifetimes (unless you read the various erotic forums.) However, scenarios like this always pop-up on heretofore mainstream nudist sites that are for the purpose of exchanging nudist resort and beach information. Let's make an informal agreement to ignore any posts that start with Nudist Moppets At Play.
There is one other thread here that screams out Rep. Mark Foley (R) Florida. My brain is wired more toward blonde Russian sirens like Maria Sharapova, but I understand and tolerate that there are gays and gay nudists. What I part with are threads like the buff 14 year-old neighbor kid want me to take him to the nudist Buckaroo Rodeo. I'm a single male 37; should I go nude with him? I'm betting this guy will get a call from NBC's Chris Hansen along with dozens of S.W.A.T. officers in full battle gear.
Let's keep the posts within the realm of reality and legality.

A mid-thigh skirt or dress is way too short to go without panties.
Since the breast is not sexualized (or shouldn't be), I see no problem if she doesn't wear one as long as she wears a jacket or shirt with pockets that cover the nipple. Without that covering it is indeed exhibitionistic. I've not worn a bra for over 5 yrs. but make sure I'm wearing something that makes it not noticeable.

A couple of small points.
While dressing like this may not be bad in itself, it may be a matter of safety for her to avoid getting into situations like date rape.
Some people get the wrong idea. No underwear = promiscuous whether true or not.
She may also draw the really dangerous predatory types as well.

I would definitely insist that she wear underwear when away from home in a textile environment or dressed. It has nothing to do with her age or how old she looks. It has to do with some out there who are predatory and the like.

I think he was saying, when in the textile world dress like the textiles do. But seeing how some of the young girls dress now days, I'm not sure thats a good thing.

I think it is okay. I know a lot of women don't wear no undergarments. Even on tv. They boast on a few tv shows that they wear underwear. As long as she is not playing the peek a boo game, it's fine. Sounds like she doesn't like to be restricted and flow. Be glad your daughter told you this. Most daughters wont. Let her do it. Know one knows but the family.

My daughter and I had this problem. Finally I took her to Victoria's Secrets and paid far too much for some flimsy thongs. I did it because she was so comfortable with her body I didn't believe she wouldn't be giving accidental peep shows to randy teenage boys. I knew she wasn't an exibitionist. I didn't want her perceived as one.
What I never told my daughter was I didn't wear underwear until I reached my 40's. I was married before I had sex. I also never had fungus infections as a teen from tight jeans and nylon panties. If she isn't the type to flop down or sit leaned back with her legs apart, I wouldn't worry about it. If she is, tell her so and see if she won't go the thong route

Part of why I dont post as much anymore..... This sort of post. Having raised, well almost:) still one teenage girl at home. Anyway... The title of this reads " should I require my teenager to wear underwear".. Of course I agree with the legit regulars that have been on here for quite a while..in that this is most likely a troll, perv or the like, attempting to fuel a sexual discussion.
On the SLIM chance that this is in anyway a REAL question. If you raise your children correctly with proper ideas of what nudity is and should be about, as well as how to behave like a respectable woman as they get older the question is almost irrelevant. We have three born and raised nudist young women. They have all gone through normal phases of "teenage phases".
All three of our girls have great "heads on their shoulders" and healthy body image. Unless your teenage daughters are wearing short skirts in public and flashing their business in PUBLIC, what does it matter what their undergarments are. And if they are..you have far more pressing issues than what style of freaking panties they have on.:)
