Hope I have influenced you enough warmskin, like naturistdoc said about genital piercings, I think shaving is a fad and will eventually die a death.
Personally, I am just not keen on seeing shaved men, just doesn´t look right or for that matter, feel right.

For me I shave only the groin area and upper portion of the upper legs. This is something new I have been trying to get an idea of what feels right.
There are a few questions I have though, 1) should men shave more than the groin area, like their legs or chest? 2) For those of you that have been to the beach nude or a nudism resort, what happens if an erection occurs on accident?

Hard to say, because that is a personal preference as opposed to an official stance on the subject. I see, however indirectly of course, the whole gamut of no shaving to shaving all the pubic hair off. So, who knows what is correct. A bit like colors, we all have our favorite colors, such as for the car we drive. No color is the best, except for what one's opinion tells them is best.
Now as for my very humble opinion, not shaving pubic hair is just right. It would interesting to see a study on how many people shave their pubic hair.
Personally, I like not having to shave that part of me all the time. Time saver.
The main thing is that your body is yours, and no one should have the right to tell you how to make it look. You might try different styles and see which one is best for you.

Spot On....I shave all over and keep my hair cut a quarter inch. Even my eye brows are gone.
They grow bushy, look like Andy Rooney. Yes ! Try it...smooth all over or not. Your life, live it.

Each to their own way but personally I still prefer au natural whether on a man or a woman, maybe this is partly due to me having to actually shave so many genitals whilst working.

The only parts I shave are my neck and jaw. I've been doing that for over 60 years and I am tired of it. Don't know how long it would take to shave my shoulders, chest, stomach, pubic region and legs and have no intention of finding out.

I like to shave down their during the summer months (I shave it all). It just feels better on real hot days and I think clothes don't stick as much.But, that's just my opinion take it or leave it.

When I was in my late 50's something happened to my body hair, it lost it's manners! It grew very long, arms, legs, pubes, even chest where I never had hair! For a while I could and did braid my pubes then one day I bought a body trimer just to shorten it. Before long I was taking it all of and loving it. Now I shave the pubes and use the gromer on arms &legs and love it.

I personally enjoy chest and genitals being shaved, then I keep leg/arm/underarm hair at a clean length.

As I shave my face each day, I also shave my genital area. Both feel clean, open, and cared for. I think it's totally a matter of personal preference, so why worry about it? But, to violate my own stand, if you have not tried it, and done it for at least a couple weeks to get your skin used to the process, why not try? To me, the gentle breezes of nature feel much better on open skin!!
