Zipolite has a wonderful bright sand beach with unlimited access. The wonderful waves are most winter days not dangerous. About 5% of the people on the beach (only) wear nothing at >30°C. It is a quite and safe place. If you want a lively crowd and night life you have to bring your own. There are 3 campsites for mobiles or trailers, only one directly on the beach. Several restaurants have a decent quality level. Airports are Huatulco (HUX) or Puerto Escondido. Take your time and chose fast (direct) 1st class bus from Mexico City to Puerto Escondido, there change to the slower modern bus at the great bus terminal, go to Pochutla. There hire a taxi and access several banks for max. 3000 peso cash each. Continue to Zipolite. Local transport is by camionetta at 10% of the taxi cost and with skin contact with Mexicans. By most accounts, Zipolite is a lovely beach in a somewhat off-the-beaten-path locale. Festivals aren't my thing, but if hanging out (so to speak) with 4000-5000 naked people appeals to you, check it out.
