This is a nudist camp site in France that I have never been to before. From the web site it looks great so I have booked for a 5 day break in early August.
Have any of you well travelled people been and be able to give me a first hand report.
When we visited a few years ago, it was a very pleasant, very family-oriented place on an old farm property. That part of the Pays de la Loire is quite flat and Le Colombier has a flat, very open feel. From their website, it looks like some of the trees have grown a bit since we were there. There are some nice paths for short walks and even a small lake. We rented a small bungalow which was very clean and well-maintained. We took advantage of the fresh bread in the morning and the basic kitchen, but a few times also ate at the restaurant or bar which had good reasonable offerings. There were lots of sports and activities for all ages, although we basically vegged around the pool. Many of the people we met regularly spent holidays there, which is a good recommendation. Overall it was just a very typical, well-run, medium-sized French (but multi-lingual) countryside naturist holiday spot. We really enjoyed and are sure you will!
