Wifee went shopping today. Said it wasn't that bad. One of the things she got for the kid is a radio controlled vehicle that runs on tank treads. Cool thing about it is that it has a built in video broadcaster and has glasses that u plug into the remote to see the view from the camera. being the good father I am....just had to take it out to make sure it works ok while the kid isn't here. Don't want the rugrat to get a non working toy for x-mas don't you know. That thing is frickin awsome. Even cooler driving it around the back yard. I highly recomend in getting one...for the kids of course. It's a SpyGear thing just in case y'all are wonderring....peace.

Have fun "testing" it, Ducky.
If I see one of these approaching me on the beach, I'll know where to come looking .. lol

LOL....nah Honeysuckle...believe in a person's right to privacy to much, besides, not a beach person...more of a woodsy type of guy. What was "neat" about it was the "critter's perspective" of being outside. Messing with the dogs was fun also. Range was pretty good for being a store bought radio controlled vehicle. Only thing is the batteries aren't rechargable, and requires 12 AA's, so think we'll be going thru batteries like crazy.

Hey, Duckie. Buy rechargeable batteries. Radio Shack has a recharger P/N 23-018 for $10. Will recharge 2 AA's at a time.

Ducky, you could always buy lithium batteries. They last longer. I used to use rechargeables in my digital camera but the lithium ones last a lot longer so that's all I use now.

Teva....I'm guessing you know this from experience. Charles and Phred, thanks. Yeah, may have to invest in some rechargables. All our other radio controlled vehicles came with rechargable power packs . This one didn't, and will probablly use the most juice.
