Where do you go for the best nudist volleyball games?

I seem to recall that White Thorn Lodge in Western PA has an annual volleyball and tennis tournament around Labor Day. I believe it attracts 1000 people. (Their number, not mine.)

Indeed they do. All the yearly tournaments are listed on the nudistvolleyball.com web site. Thanks to the nudist-resorts.org management, they are now referring readers here for forum type activity. So you should begin to see more posting about nude volleyball.

It's always the weekend after Labor Day, the Superbowl of Volleyball.

I was born in Holyoke MA, the Birthplace of Volleyball - Although we do have the Volleyball Hall of Fame, we do not have anything the likes of a large VB tournament
I knew that their had to be a reason for me to be a nudist , I was born to the International Sport of all nudist volleyball lol

On nice weekends at the Miami-Dade County-run Haulover Beach, 1 of the 2 volleyball nets is in use throughout the day & evening. The players tend to be 'BB' or 'A' level and we would love to see new faces to add to the dioverse cosmopolitain (ethnic) mix of players that play. I have even watched "he-she" players that drew a lot of on-lookers a few years ago. The vibe I get from my frequent appearances is that the regulars REALLY love this beach! We prefer the better-than-average players, but all you have to do is sign the sheet or ask how many teams are waiting and get in line - they will see that you get your chance to play, and the winning team usually stays on the court. There is a second court for beginners, or if it's really busy, the advanced court may opt to take a break and let beginners play on their court. The regulars will learn your nuances from whether you are more of an indoor player, to whether you like to play setter, hitter or deep, and make strategic positional adjustments accordingly. The format varies from doubles to triples, 4's or more. Teams often switch sides after every 5 points to compensate for advantages one side may have regarding sun or wind. Usually rally scoring (a team earns a point for winning the serve) is preferred at this beach. Many of the better players will take their time to pass the ball with you and help you become a better player, as they have done with me. Regulars are praised for making great plays and jeered for making bad plays, just like a close family - I've never heard anything mean-spirited about someone's ethnicity or their choice of being clothed or unclothed come into the jeering. If you're new to the beach or to the game, helpful comments may follow a missed serve or play. I notice that each play is often over-analyzed by the experienced players to determine how the player should have better used their hand position, etc. to have made the play work. In other words, if you love volleyball, you've come to the right place!
I had noticed in the past that it seemed like less than 50% of the beach patrons were nude, but my observation while looking around the beach last Sunday 7/5/09 was that only about 10% of the patrons were nude! And it was in the 90s! Even fewer of the volleyballers play nude - not that they don't like nudists, it's just that they may prefer their nude recreation in other forms like swimming. So it is very clothing optional at Haulover. Please visit soon!

Sunny Rest Resort in Palmerton,Pa has four Volleyball tournaments in 2010. June 12-14, July 24-26,
August 21-23 and September 18-20.
There is a lot to do there. Great nightlife.

I posted the wrong dates, for Sunny Rest Resort.
2010 dates for nude coed volleyball tournaments are June 11-13, July 23-25, Aug 20-22 &
Sept 17-19.
This is a great way to check out Sunny Rest Resort. on a good weekend there may be 1000 nudist. Great nightlife. Always something going on, day or night.
They have A & B level play.
