According to Sarah Wunsch of the Boston ACLU, it is not illegal to have a nude painting on your car. Obviously, nothing pornographic, but nude is OK. Just thought it should be known.

Hi Nude Charles,
Makes you wonder. If a car with a painting of a nude woman on it was stopped at a traffic light, next to a nude woman waiting at a crosswalk, what is the difference? Of course the real-life woman would be arrested, but the car's owner would not. Yet, the same thing is visible in each case.
On a related side note, WW II aircraft had painting of nude women on their nose. In later wars, the aircrat crew were told they could not have tbose kind of paintings on the airplane noses anymore. I wonder what brought about that kind of prudery about.
It is error alone which needs the support of government. Truth can stand by itself. Thomas Jefferson
