Hello all-- Jennifer is back with a proposition to all of the regulars and legit nudist people here in cyber space.

Can we just stop fueling all of the penis, erection, size and all of the other obvious posts designed to "add to the giant snowball rolling down the hill" Seriously. I have tried to add my wisdom of close to 50 years as a nudist on this earth to these discussions, but they continue to steer right back to the standard questions and retoric most of us have come to just ignore.

Like anybody else, I dont believe in censorship, so lets not get into all of that. But GOOD GRIEF...To this day, these topics still remain the most that are posted on. So let me sum it all up, once and for all:

1. Shave however you want. Whatever YOU, (and in many cases hopefully your partner can have a say:)..want to do, just do it and quit talking about it. No one else cares. And there is more than enough "data" on here already to make an informed decision.

2. Walking around in public, yes anywhere other than inside of your own home/trailer/tent or domicile..is PUBLIC..with a giant erection is flat out NOT appropriate. The majority of legit nudist men do not even have a problem with this.
And FYI, even at the most "swingiest" of resort men still do not walk poolside at full attention. They just dont.

3. Men..The size, shape, color of your penis only matters to you and any partner you might have now or in the future. The strangers at the nudist resort do not care, and those who do shouldnt.

4. Men and women..The fellow guests at your local nudist venue DO NOT care what size you are, if you are thin, fat, tall short or the size/shape of any other part of your anatomy.

5. Nudists are those who prefer not to wear clothes, period. Usually prefer not to wear them most of the time. If this is you, you are a nudist. If you prefer not to wear clothing, more specifally in nature..you are a naturist.

6. People can fall into MORE than 1 category. If you prefer not to wear clothes, and ALSO have sex with many partners along with your partner..you might be a swinger, But for gods sake, these are 2 SEPARATE things!

Im sure of you feel the same way, as I am sure I will get responses from all walks of psuedo-nudist types attempting to refute my statements. Hopefully this forum is still made up of mostly the former type of folk.

Jenn:)

Somewhere between nudism being a lifestyle and a fetish, there is an awful lot of middle ground.

In the eyes of a lot of the club-joining evangelists here, I am probably only a pseudo-nudist, because I see nudity only as an extension of clothing. I wear what is appropriate to the situation. On a beach that's nothing. Elsewhere I have no intention of imposing myself on those who wouldn't like it.

There are lots of topics where people are concerned with their appearance, because they don't believe your statement "Men and women..The fellow guests at your local nudist venue DO NOT care what size you are, if you are thin, fat, tall short or the size/shape of any other part of your anatomy".

Yes there are Trolls, voyeurs, fetishists and extremists, but there are also lots of people who don't subscribe to rigidly defined nudism.
Surely that is what a forum is for. You would hope that people would disagree with your set of rules.

I think you are missing the point in what Jenn is trying to say. I think she is trying to say many people are making much to do about nothing. Just enjoy being who you are and be polite... the rest doesn't mean a darned thing. We don't need to pick it all apart and analyze it.

Jenn, ditto to everything you said. I am fairly new to this forum and I can't believe the number of post dedicated to these subjects. I wonder if any of the guys who continue to post on these subjects have really taken a good look at each other. No two bodies look alike. Look at your hands, feet, ears, nose, etc. all different, yet for some reason, men are conditioned to think we should all be hung like a porn star. All body parts have a purpose (or several) and as long as they work, who cares what they look like.

This is a brand new topic for us here - the penis. I thought we'd never get around to discussing the humble penis. We've talked about the weather, politics, but my goodness, penises?

I should consult with my attorney about this topic, but only if he can represent me on a pro-boner basis. I know, that was a terrible pun.

I can agree with allnaturalwife that there is really plenty of discussion around this forum regarding the ubiquitous penis. If you need an answer regarding penises, you can most likely find it in the various topics here. I do think it is enlightening that we can talk about such things, but we might consider proportionality about penis talk. There are too many facets to nudism to have to dwell on penises so much.

However, since I have the floor, lemme tell you about my penis. It....................

I'll second that, Jenn. Even though it's already been done here. I'll sound off and identify with you anyway.

Many miss some of the key points you've outlined, in trying *very hard* to identify with not being clothed as a concept which is not fully congruent with modern distractions, instead of simply dismissing some of these distractions. I feel that nudism is a lot more like waking up, and less like going for and getting a contested promotion. I think most will ultimately realize this in their own process, once these customary anxieties are 'vented off' and exhausted in similar company, even if that means there will be repeat discussions and what seems to some of us like a lot of beating on a dead horse, as each person individually wakes up. While you are absolutely right, I feel a certain duty to help the best I can to set the minds of potential nudists and naturists at ease, since mine is, and it seems like it can be an elusive state.

Similar to Christianity perhaps? Those of us who know the Truth would just like to EVANGELIZE it, but we often can't seem to break through some rather unseemly barriers. Some very simple issues at hand, that many people aren't prepared to realize are easy for them to attain and enjoy. Very few things in life are both cheap (or free) and priceless.

I hope I haven't strayed too far from your point Jenn because I like what I thought it was.

Seeking my role in opening the eyes of the world to the simple harmless pleasure of being naked in our great outdoors.

Jennifer- without these eternal topics won't this forum suffer for a lack of posts?

I submit that we should discuss as yet uncovered areas such as: Does prolonged water submersion in elevated temperatures lead to hyper-elongation of the penis? Recently we were in the conversation pool, which is always dangerous when my wife meets a couple visiting Florida for the first time. She finds it irresistible to be a tour guide for nubies from Saskatchewan, frequently offering up tips in finding the best place for medium-rare flamed moose or where the best bargain shops are for naughty sex toys. Frequently by the time I get out of the water my penis is a dangling garden hose but my smallish testicles don't follow suit. This disproportionate penile/testicle ratio worries me.

Pubic hair: We need a major discussion on whether or not the perfect female equilateral triangle will ever make a major return to fashion.

Bazooms (Major and Minor): Another doctoral dissertation is needed on why the heck it doesn't matter if a woman goes to Dr. 90210 or an old country clinic, the results are remarkably similar. And why do nudist women find it necessary to talk amongst each other at the pool about a friend's new breasts like they just returned from a shopping trip at Nordstrom or Macy's? We guys just silently hyperventilate and appreciate women's breasts.

That should provide enough sustenance to continue this thread.

I have a glossary. Lets all join in for fun. A penis by any other name may still smell. I have heard it referred to as a willy. Sounds like wienie. My wife referred to it as peter. I have a cousin who objected to references to Dick (his name. Remember George Carlin "You can prick your finger but don't finger your (*****)".

Penis obsession? Maybe because the penis serves a basic, life-necessary function. Also, it serves a male icon. Some men can get a sense of not showing it to most anybody, no matter how tangentially, that is, become a habit of somebody seeing the little guy, or in my case, big guy. Yeah, right!

It's a normally private body part that nobody talks about, and then we arrive at this forum where we can be out in the open about our body, and at last, we can talk about penises. That mainspring of wound-up no-penis-talk-allowed from everyday life now uncoils in this forum. It's no wonder we talk about it here, because we can, at last.

Try talking about penises at work, in an elevator, library, bus, commute train, dentist's office, store, or elsewhere, and you can imagine what the reaction of the people next to you would be. So, give us guys some slack, and of course we love to hear the women's comments, too. They give an interesting counter balance.

So, let the penis-talk continue, where else can you do this politely, with approval for well-mannered discussion? Think about it.

Men will always have an argument with their dicks. Some of the time I have enjoyed the size of my dick, other times I wonder what happened? Years ago my urologist, the guy who gave me a vasectomy, called my dick all kinds of names except penis. I thank him today for that. What guy wants to call his dick a penis? Good grief. Anything bud penis. Dick. Junior. Whatever. Penis? Give me a break.

Jenn

Hear what you are saying but this is like a men's change room and a forum for men to feel OK about their penis whether it is big, small, thick, thin, strange colour or whatever. Most women think men are totally pre-occupied with this and maybe we are but its probably due to the media and the society we live in. Its a bit like women worrying about their bodies, too fat, wrong shape, big breasts, small breasts, big bum etc. etc. Just look at all the celebrities and their boob jobs and other cosmetic enhancements, lips, eyes, brows etc. We live in an era when the media peddle body perfection and people feel the need to look a certain way due to the beauty myth, all I want to know is who makes the rules about what is beauty and what is not. In art it certainly changes over time. Very few men I know find the stick thin catwalk models attractive yet they grace magazines world-wide. I have daughters and this topic is an issue. I know I have digressed from the original topic of men and their penile obsession but if this forum lets them express an opinion and feel OK about their bodies surely this is OK.

I do agree with your comments about erections. I have never had a problem with this and started at nude beaches at about 18, I did often stay close to the water just in case but it was never an issue. The only times I have seen an erection at a nude beach is when someone is trying to either impress, attract or shock and these are not appropriate.
