Sorry if this new thread is a re-tread. I couldn't find this topic in the last two months of threads. At least it's not another thread on shaving. LOL.

I visited Secret Cove two days on this long weekend. The place was packed as might be expected on a holiday. It's the world's most gorgeous nude beach, which is probably why it was so crowded. Needless to say, most of Tahoe's beaches are textile. I love Secret Cove because it's hidden and its horseshoe shape keeps the water warmer because the lake water doesn't circulate much inside the cove.

The snow-clad mountains around the lake were still sending their melted snow into the lake, so it was not exactly a hot tub. Still, people went in for short dips. I opted for an air mattress. It's a strange feeling to float nude out into this lake; almost like having a dream about being nude where ordinarily you wouldn't be nude.

The view there was like nothing else, and the tree-perfumed air was fantastic. Of course the lake is a sparkling turquoise next to the beaches, and the water is is crystal clear. It just hit me that I sound like the Tahoe Chamber of Commerce. I'm not, really. It just has advantages in beauty over California nudist resorts. In walking down the mountain to the cove gives you a wonderful view of the lake and cove.

However, like nudist resort, it helps if you bring a friend or spouse along to keep you company. That's especially true if you're a single guy.

The sand is painful to walk on. It feels like finely broken glass. That was the only complaint I had. I paid attention to NaturistDoc, member of this forum, and I bought UVA/UVB suntan lotion. Thanks, Doc!!

There must have been tens of thousands of tourists nearby at the casinos. I felt sorry for them, wasting all that money, when for free, they could have spend the daytime at Secret Cove. I'm glad I have my own favorite activities at Tahoe, and gambling isn't one of them.

Hated to leave the place, but would have had to eventually, as when the next snowfall comes down onto the beach. At that time, I'd want to leave.

Sorry, Admin, I know I posted this before for the last year, but couldn't find it in order to add to it.
