I will be taking a road trip starting late this week heading east out of North Texas towards the North/South Carolina area. I have a lot of freedom with my time and where I end up. Does anyone have suggestions for good clubs or even interesting sightseeing that I could do on this trip? I won't be doing all the driving in one day so a good mid point overnight club would be nice. Appreciate anyone's input. Is there anyone from the east that can give me good places to see, eat...any information is welcome.
It doesn't look promising TxLady1. If you're coming across I-40 there doesn't seem to be any nude clubs you could overnight until just east of Nashville. Rock Haven lodge is near Murphreesboro SE of Nashville. If you come across I-20 there are none until you get to NE Georgia.
If you're considering I-40 check with the NC Dept of Transportation regarding the status of I-40 in western NC. There was a major rock slide that closed the highway a few weeks ago that has yet be cleaned up. Some predict it will be several months before the highway will reopen.
