Don’t miss the big Parrothead Weekend. Start Friday, Nov. 7, by enjoying the local Parrothead’s favorite band - DeLei’d Parrots. They will be playing on the Lakeside Deck while Cheeseburgers are cooking on the grill and Margaritas are being served at the Butt Hutt. Saturday, Nov. 8, brings us the group Peach Schnapps and the Pirates. Win cash and great prizes for entering the Parrothead Parade with your decorated golf cart, wheel chair, bicycle, scooter, walker or shopping cart. Please limit 2 people to a cart and no motorcycles, trucks or cars. Pre-registration would be helpful and forms are available at the office. Saturday night Karaoke will offer a prize to the best Jimmy Buffet singer and costume. Sunday, Nov. 9, we will have Carlo singing from 11-1. The fanatic fans of the Buccaneers will be at the Butt Hutt watching the game that starts at 1:00 pm. The Halftime Show will feature Hal Elgin and his fabulous professional water ski team. So get your Hawaiian, Key West costumes ready for a weekend of Parrothead fun. Late Breaking News: Shane Gentry and the Nekkid Monday Band will be doing a “concert in the buff” video. They will be appearing at the West Grove Nature Preserve and Sports Center 4-5:30 PM on Saturday, Nov. 8.
