I visited Wildwood resort in Texas last weekend. I have to admit, it was the best experience at a nudist resort I have ever had. The staff was responsive to my requests to visit. The members were welcoming to me as a visitor.

Never been there. Is it family oriented? What are the facilities like?

Wildwood is a conservative family oriented resort. They have clean facilities that are fairly modern with two saltwater pools and a large deck area. There are some nice outdoor showers by the pools. I've never stayed in the rentals but I have seen the outside and they look good. The place is ran by a lady named Connie. The last time I checked the website photos accurately reflected the facility.

Hi All, I visited Wildwood a while back. They have nice facilities. It got cool and rained while we were there so we spend a lot of time in the clubhouse which is great too. I'm actually a member (got to pay my fee ) of it's neighbor resort, Bluebonnet. It's fun to visit others though. There are some 'pro' water volleyball matches, and a 5K run.

I ran across this article. It discusses Wildwood and several other North Texas resorts. We just moved into the 9th longest string (14 days) of consecutive triple digit days here in Dallas so this was a little refreshing news. We did have about 4 or 5 triple digit days before the consecutive string started.

By the way, getting into a swimming pool when the water in the pool is 90 degrees is not much of a cooling off, but every little bit helps.

We are told that a cool front (not cold) is on its way here so Monday or Tuesday we will only be 99 degrees.
