Here is an article from a local paper in regards to local naturists trying to get a section of beach to become C/O.
I'm from this area and know this beach well. Growing up there this particular beach was more desserted, but now the county has made a nice park there. Still, even with the addition of the park, there is a whole lot of beach left to use. To explain in more detail, here is what is going on there. People who visit the park area which has restrooms stay right near them as usual. There is still about 1 mile of beach to the south that could easily become C/O and really not offend anyone. But, like most textiles they not only want "Their" beach but all that is connected to it even though they never go down to that part anyway.

Great Article, I have been to Venice Beach but never knew Caspersen was there.
It would be a great place for a nude beach, lets spread the word.

it amazes me that textile don't think nudist are taxpayers too, it also is amazing that they have a beach for dogs to run around but again taxpaying nudist don't. when i go to apollo beach in florida i have to pass four textile beaches - parking lots (mostly empty) to get to the full parking lot at the nude beach. there i am again amazed at all the textiles walking up and down the nude beach, and these aren't dirty old men but couples, women and even a few families. i bet if they allow a nude beach at venice it will be packed with nudist and textiles and rewarded with $$ of revenue.

Caspersen's is several miles to the south of Venice Beach, Diger. The textiles have plenty of shoreline to enjoy themselves.
You have a great point there Bob, the few times I've been to Apollo and La Playa I've noticed he same thing. If they HATE the C/O areas so much why do they pass all the other beach areas? It's not beacuse the C/O areas are better, it's all the same beach. This is exactly like Caspersen's. It's at the dead end of a road and then the C/O area could be a short walk down the beach. Post a few signs and no Family is going to ACCIDENTALLY stumble across nude sunbathers. It really is that simple, what a shame that local governments can't see it that way.
