Not many to speak of on the East Coast. Several nudist trailer parks with pools, but certainly not "resorts." If you must, best bet is Sunsport Gardens or Haulover Beach. Haven't been there myself, but I know there is a nudist friendly B&B in Key West. Good Luck, but my advice: Caribbean or Tampa.

Hi HotMango, One of the best nudist resorts in the country is Cypress Cove, located about 10 miles south of Disneyworld.

How does Cypres Cove compare to - - - or Living Waters in Palm Springs?

Without a doubt, the best resort is C-----e! which is just North of Tampa. It has every amenity you can imagine.

Continuing on about C----te! (We're not allowed to mention the name on this board because it's become sw--ger friendly, whatever that means. Note: There is absolutely no open sexual activity.) Anyway, the place has a four-star restaurant, sports bar, fabulous pool with waterfall, nightclub and hotel. We highly recommend it. We also recommend - -, which used to be "THE place" before this one came along. Cypress Cove is a very, very nice laid back family resort in Kissimmee, which is a bit far from Orlando.

Since this is the adult oriented resort section of the message board, the original posters may not want a place like Cypress Cove which can have lots of kids.
If you are looking for a place in the Tampa area, try Lacs paradise or - - - -, Neither may be the most politically correct resorts in naturist speak, but they do offer upscale facilities.
As for southern Florida, the only places I would know that I would call upscale is some bed and breakfast type places in Key West. West Palm Beach offers either Sunsport Gardens which is more of a family campground with a new age edge to it or Sawmill, which is an adults only campground that is gay/lesbian oriented, but accepts everyone over 21.

We enjoyed both when we visited last summer, but they are very different places. Cypress Cove is older, smaller and much more low-key, but has a very nice pool area. The onsite restaurant is very basic, but does an adequate job. The hotel rooms are also quite basic, but who spends time in their room?
The Other Place is more glitzy and upscale ... and expensive. Contrary to nudesuncpl, we were treated to the sight of open sexual activity in the hot tub. Nor were we quite as impressed with the "four-star restaurant". However, the pool and facilities are over-the-top gorgeous. The rental condos are very nice.
It boils down to what your personal style is. If I had to choose, I'd pick Cypress Cove. It's old-school and unpretentious, and doesn't seem to have swinger issues.

As for us, when we travel we'll take glitzy and upscale. If we wanted to be "basic" and "adequate" we'd stay home. There's no doubt that - - (and c'mon, Admin, let's stop this censoring names nonsense!) is upscale, as is - - (ditto, Admin. Let's try Freedom of Speech! We've even heard it works!) As to open sexual activity, we've heard stories about late-night goings on, but we've never seen any, mostly because we're not out late at night. The point is, if you want a real upscale nudist experience in the Tampa area, those are the two top choices in our opinion.

The names begin with "C" and "PL." Someday we'll be able to discuss these things like adults. But not today.

if i was headed to s.florida i'd just go to haulover beach, parking $5. the resorts will run about $50. a day and you get to play in the sand and water both.

Nudesuncpl, while challenging our clearly stated policies regarding "lifestyle friendly" establishments, you make sweeping guarantees that there is absolutely no open sexual activity, then admit you've heard stories, but you're not out late at night, so you have never seen it.
We do not allow the deception of our members, nor the promotion of confusion between what is a traditional nudist resort and one that encourages sexual activities or affiliations.
Exactly what do you expect me to do with your posts?
Our unwavering policy is that we DO NOT allow promotion of "lifestyle friendly" activities through publishing stories or specific references to such activities. And since our members like to publish accurate nudist resort trip reports, this presents a problem for those resorts that have abandoned the nudist restraint for open sexual promotion. These establishments have chosen their business base, and it no longer includes the respectability and reputation that is the hallmark of traditional nudism. If these businesses are meant to survive, their success will not depend on support from these pages. This site is about the nudist ideal and nudist opportunities, not about "lifestyle friendly" open sex and organized wife swapping, which has nothing to do with nudism. In fact, this confusion has the greatest potential to destroy an already damaged industry.
We do not make these determinations lightly. Those formerly nudist establishments that no longer appear in our pages have all resorted to directly advertising to the lifestyle swinger, particularly by designating their businesses as "lifestyle friendly" on their websites and publications. This is not limited to resorts in Florida. Furthermore, we have confirmed through either direct observation or through trusted and respected forum members that frequent sexual activity was indeed evident, and that security personnel were not.
It does not matter that all this happened past your bedtime.
You are perfectly welcome to post in some other website if you cannot abide by our posting rules, linked at the bottom of every page. Your argument about free speech is addressed there.
Please, folks, when making a recommendation for a resort in Southern Florida, realize we do have policies in place regarding openly "lifestyle friendly" businesses.
