It can definately be warm enough at the beach in March. We really don't have any "seasons" here in So Cal. We have had a bit of rain and cooler temps this past few weeks but that is somewhat normal for this time of year. With us So Cal residents, we try and take advantage of nudity conducive weather whenever we get it during winter months (Dec/Jan) but after late Jan...it can be plenty warm enough for nudity along the coast or inland at most of our clubs.
As the Prof said, it certainly can be plenty warm by March, even in central/northern CA. Or it can be chilly, so if you have flexibility in your travel plans, watch the weather closely. I personally have broken a sweat on New Year's Day at Bonny Doon beach near Santa Cruz. Two years ago we had a hot streak in January and Privates beach in Capitola was full of sun worshippers. I know you mentioned So. Cal., but if you're willing to drive the diesel a bit farther north to Pirates Cove (near SLO), it's a huge southerly facing beach that is sometimes warm even without full sunshine. Have fun!
SLO? is that San Luis Obispo? I would be coming via I-15.
SLO is about halfway between SF and LA, right?
That is true. Coming down the 15 you'd have to drive west/northwest for a few hours to reach SLO (San Luis Obispo).
Just so you know...keep a watch on the weather. If the beach is cloudy and cool...when you reach where the 15 and 215 meet below the Cajon Pass...Deer Park is right there! Nice nudist club. Of course then there's Olive Dell east on the 10 fwy and further south from Deer Park about 40 minutes is Glen Eden.
Any other info on these parks...let me know. We're members at GE and have visited the other two places many times.
