What shouldn't be done in the nude: I guess Baseball would be a no no. Or Cricket for that matter.
Oooh it hurts just thinking about it!

Nude welding should definately be avoided. There are way too many sparks created while welding, you could get burned very badly.

Along the same lines, I'd think that fire-fighting in the nude would be a bad choice. Those fancy fire suits were created for a reason. Also, taking a field-trip to the moon would require clothing. Same reason.

I've heard of naked motorcycling. After seeing what happened to my buddies motorcycle jacket after his crash, I'd have to say that's probably a bad idea.

I think most contact sports would be out of the question. There are certain parts of the body that just need protection.

TJ,

How exactly would you keep the protector (box) in place while batting?

Cheers,

Kim,

I'd be more concerned about what the rod-handle would be digging into while trying to hook the tuna.

That was like my argument with nude ten-pin balling. They wear shoes and socks!

Saying that I'd be prepared to play nude cricket at Cobblers Beach with a tennis ball.

Now that's an idea... Ball games are banned at Bondi Beach now, maybe we could get all the ball-players down to Cobblers!

Why are ball games banned at Bondi?
I have to agree arc welding would be a real no no nude activity. It's bad enough doing an overhead weld without a cap on let alone having those sparks hitting a more sensitive hairy part.
Fishing is great in the nude though, especially surfcasting, surfcasters have bigger rods.

Nudkiwi,

Yeah they banned all ball games at Bondi. I think its pretty lame, but they pretty good reason, especially when it gets crowded in the middle of summer. The issue is Public Liability and the consequences of increased insurance premiums. Councils are running scared from potential public litigation and turning to their insurance providers who inevitably increase their premiums every time somebody gets a volleyball in the head.

I guess its an unfortunate fact of life.

Cheers,
Spontanudity

I don't think I would want to be doing any berry picking in the nude.
