White Thorn Lodge is a member owned resort cooperative club founded in 1961. Members contribute time and effort to keep it in top shape. For the past 40 years White Thorn Lodge has become internationally famous for it Super Bowl of Nude Volleyball held the weekend after Labor Day. Every year White Thorn lodge welcomes over one thousand spectators and players of all levels. In 2010 seventy teams from the U.S.A. and Canada traveled to WTL to compete in classes form novice to the top class AA.
Since 1962, White Thorn has been affiliated with the AANR (American Association for Nude Recreation) and its regional association AANR-East (American Association for Nude Recreation - Eastern Region, Inc.) as a full-member club.
