Mrs. Landlord and I had a great Friday, July 8 at Lake O' The Woods in Valparaiso, Ind. Mrs. Landlord commented that LOTW was really "Valparaiso", meaning "Paradise" in Spanish. We met many interesting and nice, friendly people. Nice easy hiking trail and the facilities were all in clean and excellent condition. Various boats, canoes, swimming platforms, and paddle boats for the lake. A camping area and play equipment for kids (or grandkids). We can't wait to go back

We went back this past summer (2012) except fr raining most of the morning, it was still just as enjoyable as when we went in 2011. (It's about a 7-hour drive for us).
