The younger generation does not seem to like nudism that much. Doesn't mix with techie-toys. Immigration can definitely make large changes in group behavior. I don't see why Germany needs to go out of its way to import people to make up for a declining population. I would love to have declining population in California.
Not that I am some whacko about immigrants, but it might be good to forecast what things happen as they take on large percentages of a country's population. If you have strong traditions such as nudism, what effect will large numbers of immigrants have on the culture there.
They can enrich culture to some extent, but they can be a force that demands the cessation of things the natives love to do.
I have spent time living overseas in a very different kind of nation, and I would never dream of imposing my values on my host country.

Immigrants should never be allowed to impose their beliefs or laws on Nudist Activities, unless of course, their beliefs and laws benefit our activities.
I am a Socialist at Heart, but have a few 'Redneck' tendencies. Or I could say the Redneck Tendencies cover 100% of my skin!

I don't find believing that immigrants should not come into a country and impose their cultural values on the host country to be "redneck" in any way. But maybe you were jesting?

Historically, Nudism in Germany, Scandinavia and the Baltic region was a closely related subsidary of the Social Democrqtic Party. The era of the 1920s had Democrtic Socialism in a very strong position EXACTLY a Nudism flourished.

I am bringing this forward into current time. My guess is that, altho the two popular movements long ago went on seperately, they both continued to appeal to the same psychologic bases. So, both are withering together in the face of today's social, economic and politial changes.
In the American experience. they were never closely connected.
