Hello, my name is Michael. I am from Aberdeen, Scotland. I am currently working at a research in Northeast Tennessee. Are there any nudist resorts or lake beaches in this area? Maybe you can help me out. Thanks, Michael

Good Morning Michael,
My grandfather, James McHugh, was born in Whiteinch(near Glasgow).
Depending where you are in NE Tenn, the closest I am aware of would be in Crossville, Tn. I can't recall the name right now, there was a discussion on the netnude.com website last year. I'll get back to you when I find out, unless someone in that area gets it to you first.

The name is Cherokee Lodge and Resort. From the pictures on their website, the place looks beautiful!!!
I've been thinking about stopping in there on the way to or from my sister's condo in Gatlinburg just haven't gotten there yet. One of these days...

I was at Cherokee Lodge last winter and would not recommend it. It was a very cold day. I had driven over a hundred miles to get there. No one else was there, which was OK. Upon checking in I asked where the hot tub was and the manager showed me on a map. I think the grounds fees were about $30. Anyway, I decided that I would go ahead and pay it and just sit in the hot tub a while. (It was too cold to do anything else and the lodge was cold as well.) I found the hot tub water to be ice cold, and the manager was rude and refused to refund my money, saying it was against their policy to give refunds for any reason. The hot tub had been "tripping breakers" and I was told it would be repaired soon (sometime that week).
They did volunteer they would reset the breaker and I could use it in about 4 hours. I didn't have the time to wait and didn't relish the idea of getting in a tub full of water that was having electrical difficulties. (Something they obviously knew about before I asked about the hot tub at check in). Call me a wimp, I don't care! The place looks pretty run down also. Probably worse than the pictures would show.
I haven't been there but I have seen real good reports on Rock Haven Lodge in Murfreesboro. You might give that a try.
