Well, this isn't exactly a report on Avatan, yet. My wife and I just made reservations for our first nudist adventure! We'll be camping at Avatan in June. We're both pretty excited, and a pretty nervous, too. We've been pretty comfortable with at home nudism since we've been married (17 years). We had been tossing the idea around of going to a "real" resort for a while, now, but something always got in the way, time, family obligations, or money. After moving to Nebraska, we started looking around for resorts, and decided on Avatan, in MN
. So, after we go, I'll report back with a combination review of Avatan, and a first timers trip!

Koekar, Welcome to the relaxing world of social nudism. Once we experienced our first visit to a nude resort in the 90's we were hooked. Our experience prior to social nudism was simular to yours. We had enjoyed being nude at home for years. For us the relaxation and the enjoyment of being around other nude people is the purest way to live. Be prepared for both positive and negative reactions from people in the textile world if you let anyone know about your nude resort visits. Above all, enjoy!
