OMG! People are out enjoying themselves, having a good time. We need to pass a new law to stop them. Freedom and fun can't be allowed. This is America, home of the puritans and Progressive police state control. OMG! Call out the police. This has to be stopped before everyone is having fun at Fantasy Fest.

Finally, some enlightened reader's comments in response to the article. "If you are offended by nudity, don't visit during Fantasy Fest." Problem solved. I think some people are offended that not everyone is offended.

As a birthday present (Hallowwen!), I was taken to Fantasy Fest a number of years ago. It was hilarious! The parade along Duval St. was colorful and vulgar and entirely good-natured. About half of the onlookers were in costume, and the percentage of people who were nude or partially nude was actually rather small. Yes, there the naked guys on rollerblades, and a fair number of people wearing little more than paint and flip-flops, but the crowd clearly expected to see such antics. The only offensive aspect was the occasional fistfight between drunk tourists.

Well San Francisco already went and banned public nudity, so we should have known it wouldn't be long before they tried it in Key West too.
