Wife and I had our pubes lasered after many years of shaving. It was really the way to go for us, always smooth with no effort. I reccomend this for the long haul.

Hello fello smoothies.
I recently shaved my pubic area and if felt and looked great. Little did I know my 11 yr old was going to come for a visit. (He lives with his mother)
Let me say he had a good laugh when we went out to the pool for a swim. He is a semi-nudist when he visits and just could not understand why I would want to shave what he is trying to get :)

Was it actually a laser or pulsed light?
Did it really turn out to be premanent?
Did you laser your scrotum also?

I would certainly like to hear from Badbugs as to if the lazer treatment was permanent. Is it very expensive.

I shave virtually smooth all the time, so some firsthand info on laser treatments would be really appreciated. I think they're available here in Italy.

The laser treatments are somewhat permanent, after a few years we did go back for a touch up. There are different types of lasers but for he most part they work best with dark hair on lilly white skin. We had to cover up all areas to be lasered when in the sun to be sure our skin was white as possible before we began. Then six treatments 4 to 6 weeks apart and that was it. The costs vary so shop around, there are many places that offer this service because it has become mainstream. To answer jpg's question, yes I had my scrotum and shaft lasered. My wife had her entire area done completely and we ended up a couple of smooth happy people.

I voted everyday, but that isn't totally true. I had my pubic area lasered so while I am smooth everyday all year, I don't shave at all.

i started shaving all my pubes 2 days ago it feels really good
makes me feel very clean & free now
my partner and kids were a little amazed but say it looks great

I have never shaved before. All though my teens and now. I have trimmed slightly once but other then that. I am natural:)

Hi Lisa, welcome aboard. I was just wondering if you've been considering shaving. If you haven't you might want to consider it. I've read on at least one website devoted to the subject (written by a woman) that all women should try it. If you like it - great! and if you don't, it will grow back. Shaving might make a great surprise for your husband. I know that when my wife surprised me (I'd given her no clues that I'd like her to shave), I was most pleasantly surprised! Also, if you decide that you don't like being completely bare, it's much easier to let a bit grow on the top when you start off bare since, you can shape it better. I noticed from your other posts that you haven't been to a public nudist beach yet. When you do, you'll quickly find out that most women trim and many of them are completely bald (well of pubic hair - I am not a fan of bald headed women or men for what that's worth).

I agree with ShavePubFan, try it you may like it.
Just recently after many many years of not shaving or trimming because we like to bleach or dye our pubic hair we decided to try a little trim.
To make a long story short, we are now both completly shaved. What a diff., and it give you a completly diff. feeling.
We had a Labor Day Party at our home with 8 other couples, who were also nudist, and upon arrival they rec. a "gift bag" of shaving cream and razors!
Before the weekend end was over all of us were "soft and smooth".
My wife and I agreed to keep it smooth until Jan 1st, and then we would let it grow back in, so we could get back to our fav. past time of dyeing and bleaching.
If everything goes well, we will be heading to - - - in mid April, when the temps are starting to hit the 80's and 90's.
Be like Mikie on the cereal commercial, "Try it you might like it"

I've been partially shaving for a cople of years and it's part of my daily shower routine. I keep the rest of the region trimmed. I like the look and feel.

Like our other daily routines pubic shaving ,if you keep at it, eventually just becomes part of our daily "toilet". But, it also feel and looks good.
