I have been in sort of email contact with her, since she lives in my area, and she said she can not log in here, and asked if I would ask for her. She did say she never received any type of notice, and wouldn't understand why she'd be banned, but her log in doesn't work is the bottom line.

No, tell her she hasn't been banned. I'll let Admin address the situation. But be patient. He has a lot to do, maintaining this site.

Thanks, Randy.
I'll tell her, but she probably already read your reply, since she still can read, just can't log in she said.

I was very concerned after reading SkinnyBlondeGirl's latest messages, so I tried to respond to that thread and maybe give some advice regarding personal safety and STD's. The thread was deleted before I could hit the post button.
After I inquired about it, Admin informed me that yes, he deleted the post and banned SkinnyBlondeGirl from posting, at least for now. Rather than repeat what Admin said, I'd rather let him elaborate if he wishes to do so. I will say that I have no problem with Admin's thinking on the issue.

Yeah, I remember reading SkinnyBlondeGirl's latest post on that topic, and I said to myself, "Uh... oh...."
I hope she's being careful. It's her business what she does in her personal life, but it's important to use good judgment and exercise discretion. It looked to me like she might have some work to do in both areas. But then, so did many of us (myself included) at that age!

So she was banned. I too read the post in question, but I thought there were other discussions around here touching on the same subjects anyway, so I never expected it was something that could cause someone to be automatically banned over. Hey, didn't she even go back and change her posts after some members discussed the issue? So I'm sorry to disagree, but I think banning her was harsh. She was new here wasn't she, after all, and she didd try to correct the post? It's a shame too, when we are already so short on female members that are actually interested and participate.

It could be admin saw something that reminded him of other posters in the past. I was one of the ones to warn SBG about the post. Now if I was an admin (which I have been many times in my short life) if it was a firt offense I wouldnt have banned her, but if admin thought she was actually someone else (Say someone who has gotten booted before) I can see the imediate kick.
And I don't know if SBG is really a female or not, and I personally don't care. I agree that this site doesnt have a huge amount of female posters, but its typical of most any other site, blog, irc channel, mud, etc. And like such places alot of the women are actually men behind the screen. I am sure our three main female posters are female, and thats good enough for me. I treat everyone the same on the internet, like a person
I do like good conversations, so I am sad to see someone kicked. But I am also happy the way the site is run so I will accept how Admin runs it. If he decides to have SBG back then cool, if not, I am sorry.

I've been in email contact with her, and she lives surprisingly close, in my area. We have talked about meeting, and we have exchanged photos. I can say that she definitely is female from what I've seen. She told me in the very begining the first tme I ever emailed her and asked, that she was new to the site and nudist life in general. I think considering her tender age, she could have been dealt with, and brought along a little more. Maybe she just needs a little guidance. A warning may have sufficed.

Curt,
I knew guys in college who were 'women' on the internet. Had pictures and everything. Even had a nice pic of the person holding a sign that they could add 'Hi Steve' or whatever to so it was personalized. They would string guys along for sometimes Years. 'Oh we should meet, oh I cant this weekend my friend was sick, oh sorry I missed you last weekend, etc etc'. I persoanlly dont think anyone is female until proven otherwise
Now with Melissa, Cheri, and Kim I am pretty sure they are really women , actually pretty Darn sure!
I agree, if there was no other warninings admin had, that it could have been treated better, but I am still shootin for Admin having gone with his gut or with his logs, not just cause he doesnt want anouther woman posting

I too have my experience, and have been an internet user since it's inception. I think I am a pretty good judge of who's fooling me and who isn't by now. The everyday problems and events she has discussed with me, along with her decriptions of her location, which is practically around the corner, being right on, all point to her being genuine. I am pretty sure I could set up to meet her this weekend if I chose to do so, but it is not her, it's me. I mean she is only 19, and I am at least 10 years her senior.

I too have been around since before its inception. When BBSs ruled the land and to connect to anything from your house you put your handset on the Modulator/Demodulator (later shortened to modem). I was on the internet when the words Gopher and Archie ment somthing, and the web was something that got caught in your hair when you went hicking I remember being POed because the 15 page HOWTO I just got done getting ready for our gopher server on 'how to connect a slackware linux workstation to the internet' had to be rewrittin in HTML. I have boardopt'd on more BBSs then I care to admit and was the guy who helped many get connected to the net And I am also the one who has seen the exact same story you just described 'Oh but she talked like a woman and she lives practically around the corner', Ya well so do alot of guys :)
I have even been a woman on muds for years. I did it more for the silly guys who would give you EQ and levels because you were female. I had a group of friends believing I was a female for 2 years, some still do. My Ex thought I was cheeting on her . She didnt believe it was me on there. I never meant to lie to my friends online but it started out as some people and after spending 12 hours a day 7 days a week with some of them became my friends and I didnt want to hurt them after they were my friends. Now everyone knows because I came out to them, every one of them were surprised. Its my feminine side that made it so easy :) And so hard to hurt thier feelings.
Anyway, Curt, I have seen it way too many times to way to many people, myself included. I have seen people fly accross country or to other countries just to never see thier whatever. Be careful of your emotions and dont get attached to anybody until you have met them. I lost a good friend like that because he found out his gf for a year online was a guy. He slit his wrists the next day.

I can see you are pretty set in your beliefs, and if you wish to chalk all this up to freak coincidence, then I wont argue, but I am the one with the 1st hand knowledge. I am not going to attempt to convince you. Your view just seems pretty sad and pesimistic to me. The point here is getting lost anyway, in that I think a person deserves a warning, especially after rectifying one's own posts without even the intervention from the mods.

Curt, your first hand knowledge is from an email from someone you have never met I am not saying I have any better knowledge though, and I wont continue the argument about SBGs gender because you 'are pretty set in your beliefs' aswell :)
I do give credit to SBG 'blanding' her posts. I believe it was very good of her to do and showed conformity to the rules. That is why I am suspecting Admin had better reasons for kicking her then just that post. I have seen other people get kicked in my two months or so of being here, and I wouldn't be surpised if Admin kicked SBG because he thought SBG was really someone who had gotten kicked. It has happened before on many boards. It has happened to me on boards I have oped. Until we hear 'First Hand' from admin it doesnt do us much good to go round and round on this .
Stop the World, I want to get off
