During the campaign, ask them all the question, "Have you ever been skinny dipping "

This is less contraversial sounding, but harder for them to fudge than "are you a nudist?"

Of course, the answer would probably be "Yes, but I didn't look!"

Cheers!

Add to that....

Would you skinnydip again if given the chance? Why or why not?

The United States has at least 2 of our "fore-fathers" who skinny-dipped regularly. One was Ben Franklin. The other was a president but I don't remember which one.

If not, you could accuse the candidate of not holding the tradition of his fore-fathers in high enough regard.

These are people who don't even inhale!

I found it on Cheef's site: John Quincy Adams - http://www.capitolhillblue.com/artman/publish/article_4021.shtml

I think Ben Franklin also enjoyed being nude in his home and sleeping nude.

I didn't know J. Q. Adams was a skinny dipper.

I would imagine that a lot more people skinny dipped than is being admitted too. I am not sure but I believe the bathing suit did come in to egistance on till the 1800's, so those peole before then, either swam nude or swam in their clothes.

Kim,

I have a crazy theory. I believe that your statement is true because of horror movies. Yes, I said horror movies. Call me crazy, but think about it. In the 70's and 80's when horror movies were very popular, EVERYTIME some people went skinnydipping, whether alone or with company, they were killed shortly after. EVERYTIME some people were showering in a cabin in the middle of the woods, they were killed shortly after. Now you know how people who watched movies back then really got into them, to the point where it was a possibility of happening to them. So what I think most people will not admit to skinnydipping or even try it for that matter because they are afraid they will be killed, in one form or another. Look at Psycho, Friday the 13th, and Nightmare on Elm Street. I feel the proof is in the pudding, so to speak.

Ray

John
I cant believe that u can just walk down the street naked (nude)
What about if u left your clothes home and u went shopping nude and the cop tells u to get your clothes and u say sorry I left them home (LOL).
Well, that is just to hard to believe.
Wish they did that in new york , I mean come on its the big apple .
It should be allowed !

Walking nude down the street here in Vermont IS legal. Incredible, isn't it?

Vermont has no anti-nudity laws. The ONLY stipulation is that if someone calls the police with a complain and the police ask you to get dressed then you must get dressed or get arrested. However, if no one complains....you're free to walk naked down the street and the police cannnot legally do anything.

Does anyone know if there are any other states with such freedom?

John

Warm01 I imagine someone would complain if you walked down the street nude. That would give the police reason to either arrest you or ticket you.
