As for the GF being right, my girlfriend said “he probably was”

That's cool she was honest about it!
I remember being outed at my retirement party by an inebriated co worker. He went on and on about me being naked at work and an incident where a couple of us chased him naked throughout the fire house. Afterwards, some family and friends came up to my wife and asked, "did you know your husband was a nudist!?" I thought she'd throw me under the bus but she answered, "yeah, we both are!" They had no words! hahahaha
Loves being naked. Plays well with others!

I work overnights, so yesterday morning when I got home from work, the kids were al gone to school, by girlfriend was at work, I had the house to myself. I stripped down and did a load of laundry and then hung them outside to dry. We had a new washer and drier being delivered some time in the afternoon so I decided to try to sleep a little bit before that. They showed up around noon and after a few hours (a few minor issues) the new ones were ready to go. By this time my girlfriend’s kids were all home and her daughter had brought a friend that comes over quite often. My girlfriend came home from work and I decided to go back to bed.
Come to find out, the daughter’s friend’s mother had driven by our house and had seen me hanging the clothes outside. It’s in the backyard but some of it is visible on the side of the house from the road (the house sits on an angle). She was very upset by this and told her daughter she no longer wanted her coming over to our house because of this. Even though I have NEVER been naked around her daughter, nor do I walk around naked when the kids are home. Ever.
Of course this is ironic because this woman is a known junkie and has been in and out of prison. So drugs and crime are perfectly acceptable but a little simple nudity is intolerable. Personally I don’t care if she doesn’t let her daughter come to the house anymore. I think she’s a bad influence on my girlfriend’s daughter, and I’ve let my opinion be known many times but my girlfriend feels sorry for her because she got dealt a really bad hand in life with 2 s***ty parents (her dad also has drug and prison issues). This girl has been raised by her grandparents for half of her life because of this. And of course now my girlfriend’s daughter is upset because this girl is her best friend. But talk about overreacting to a situation!

Ugh that sucks. Backyard nudism can be a tricky thing...
I'm going to throw some "stats" in the air here. Let's say that out of 10 people who catch a glimpse of you naked in your backyard: 9 don't care/are amused and move on; and 1 gets upset. That's some pretty good odds. But now let's say that the person is a jerk neighbor, an overzealous police officer, one of the kid's teachers, an a-hole boss; or the deadbeat Mom of one of the kids' best friends. Suddenly that 1 exception becomes that 1 big problem. It's unfortunate but it's been known to happen.
I don't know what the solution is. Moving to a nudist resort or to a remote area is not an option for most people. Building an 8-foot fence or planting high shrubs does not guarantee you still can't be seen. At the same time getting paranoid about being seen is not conducive to a happy naked life.
I think at the end of the day, aside from a little "awareness of one's surroundings", you have to start with the firm belief that you're not doing anything wrong. That way you can be better equipped to deal with any negative feedback. When I lived in my townhouse with a six-foot fence in a cul-de-sac, I was well aware that all my next-door neighbor had to do was lean outside the bedroom window to see me and my daughter playing naked in the backyard. But I genuinely felt we weren't doing anything wrong. The second thing is to be prepared for negative feedback. It can happen: relationships might be compromised, feelings might get hurt. But staying true to oneself, IMHO, matters most.
Anyway; that's my philosophical 5 cents.

Being at the end of the road, we also have lots of trees and low brush, that block any view from the road. We have houses that are about 600' away and can not be seen except during winter time when everything is bare. While some 'might' make it up our driveway, I keep shorts close by for that just in case!!!!!!

More than 30 years ago I worked as a community planner in Yukon (Nude in AK's nearest neighbour!). One of the jobs was to design a country residential subdivision, where privacy was paramount. The acceptable lot size was to be 20 acres (8.09 ha). The greatest need was to take a P from the porch and not offend the neighbours! (How many neighbours would be offended by an orch?)

Not really a big catch, but while renting a cabin this past weekend, I slept nude as I always do. There was a bathroom right outside my bedroom so I got up to pee. Just as I opened the door and walked back to my room, I heard one of my buddies say “put some clothes on” in a joking manner. I didn’t have my glasses on, so I didn’t even see him out there.

Not sure if I was caught or not. I have a neighbor that in the summer I can’t see because of trees and leaves. But in the winter they are visible. They don’t live there though, it’s a getaway house for them and they are very rarely ever there. Since I moved in at the end of July, I’ve probably only seen them there less than 5 times. Anyhow, I thought there was some garbage out in my backyard so I decided to walk out there naked last week. It turned out to be a large sheet of ice and snow, so I walked back to the house. As I was walking back I could see that the neighbors car was in the driveway. Somebody was there. They would have had a clear view of me if they happened to be looking out their windows that day.

Since my last post, I've been caught by the Pest control guy... twice! hahaha
1st time, I was completely naked in my work shop. He came to do the monthly service and I had no idea he was coming that day. I was cleaning out a bunch of junk and had the shop vac out and I turned it off and heard him call my name..."hello... I'm here today!" I said "hey... okay!" He walked around the corner to the open shop door and there I stood with the shop vac in my hand. Surprisingly, he stood there for a few minutes and we talked.
He finished up back there and as he walked by the open door again, he said, "I'm going up front now." I waited and when able I walked in side, slide on some mesh shorts and met him up front. Again we talked for several minutes and caught up.
The following month, he came on a day that was not scheduled. We were taking down and boxing all the Christmas decorations. I had on a robe but didn't tie the belt in a knot so the robe kept opening. I was getting warm going up and down the ladder so I left it open. The garage door was open and I was sliding the Christmas tree box and I heard him call my name. I turned toward the voice, robe open and there he was! I just slowly closed the robe. We talked for a few minutes, he explained the unscheduled stop and went about his work. I think he's figured out that I don't close much while at home! hahaha

Ever been caught?
