Sorry about that. Thank you for clarifying what I was stating about the banner.

We think it is pretty tasteless on - -'s part to allow their banner to be advertised on such a site. What kind of message is that sending about the Resort?

Thank you!

HI:

It is finally hot and we have approx 12 nudist couples and a few singles around our pool. The question came up about swingers. There are two couples in our group who are nudist and swingers. We were invited to a party at their house last year. We had no idea they were swingers, and we were taken by surprise. It was a very interesting evening and Mrs. Cookie and I sat back and took in the particapation from afar.

During the evening, we felt that everyone was enjoying themselves an nobody was hurting someone.

Since then we have gone to a couple of their parties, and we have never been pressured into doing anything we did not want to do.

By the way we did not do "anything"!!

Remember, we are here for a short time, so let's have a good time.

I am new to this site and some of the views that people have are just as out of focus as saying that everyone should be just the same as everyone else. Everyone has different ideas as to what is right or wrong, but to put a tag on a group of people because one or two people think that the morals of that group might be in question. I agree that some in the swinging lifestyle are only in it to rack up numbers (just like they did when they were younger and less mature) but that however does not apply to all. Rules are ment to be followed and morals are put into place to guide you thru your life, and to say that nudist can not be swingers and swingers can not be nudist is just a "Catch-22" and it is just the mind set of the few trying to instill their morals on the general population to make things better in their own minds, when that may not really be the true answer to the question that has plagued them since their own childhood.

I'm new to this site, but have been reading the posts for a bit today. My Husband and I are both nudist's and swingers. I think a lot of the people on these boards feel the same way I do (don't get riled up, let me finish... ) I think there is a place for both, just not together. You wouldn't go to Burger King and ask for Mexican... :}

There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore, and who always will. So don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future!!!

From my 30 years of experience, I've discovered that most nudist resorts have a fairly large percentage of swingers. It's just a fact. For the most part, swingers are very discreet about their lifestyle, and don't cause any trouble (they don't talk sex in front of kids, for example). So nudists and swingers overlap and co-exist nicely from what I've seen. It's all about respecting the other person's lifestyle choice.

If, as a nudist, you think swingers are disgusting, don't forget some clothed people think nudists are disgusting. Kind of puts it all in perspective, doesn't it?

Just for the record, my wife and I are not swingers.

As Ive said many times...I have no problem with swingers, to each their own, of course no problem with nudists:). One can be both, obviously...I do not think the lifestyles overlap AT ALL. The people in them might do one or both..but the 2 lifestyles represent VERY different things.

Last year I had the experience of a younger woman who was near me with a group of others going into the sand dunes near me with a number of men 3 of which were sporting erections. They came back some time later not as they were and she went straight into the water and cleaned herself and was joking about the mess these guys had made.

While I like sex very much I think there is a time and a place and a public beach (albeit a nude or CO beach) with lots of other people close by is not the place. Call me old fashioned.

This type of behaviour does get nudists and nude beaches a bad reputation. As do the guys trooping through the dunes trying to pick up and after a quick encounter.

I haven't tried swinging as such with the keys in the bowl thing or whatever but each to their own. Don't believe a free beach is it.

SBN.

I was at Gunnison once with my best friend, sitting behind a small group of people - including one woman. I noticed something "weird" going on as other men started coming up to them and plopping down really close to them. It then became clear that they were engaging in some sort of public masturbation group session. My best friend and I just looked at each other, jaws dropped, in complete disbelief of what was happening in front of our eyes. Suddenly I heard a woman screaming from the top of her lungs; it was a beach regular who had just seen what was happening. She jumped up and ran to the park ranger while the "culprits" scurried about like rats in sunlight. My best friend and I were in sheer amazement of what had just transpired. There were many kids on the beach that day; and that event became the main reason why I decided to never take my daughter to a nude beach.

Those type of events do happen at the nude beach; sometimes more covertly, less often openly. I for one do not begrudge anyone's sexual proclivity; but there is a time and place for it. I believe in strictly regulating sexual behavior, except in those places where it is openly permitted, because those types of behavior can actually kill nude beaches (as in Mazo Beach.)

I have met a nudist swinger couple; I had a chat with the woman and she was very respectful as far as not mixing her sexual practice with social nudism. I'd like to believe the average swinger has those same values. It is the faction that wants to "push the envelope" that creates an issue.
