Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum, but all the posts I've read seem to deal only with shaving. I am curious as to why more people don't talk about waxing as a hair removal method. I'm a guy and I have been getting total body waxes for the last two years. IMO it is the only way to go. The results last between 4 to 6 weeks and after the first few sessions the pain is hardly noticable. I would never go back to shaving. I would like to hear from others to see if they have tried this and what their experiences with waxing have been.

You can remove hair from your back with an epilator. There is no mess with an epilator, as there is in waxing. Also, how do you wax your back without help ?

WAXING IS THE BEST LONGER TERM SOLUTION , SHAVING IS ANNOYING - EVER TRIED TO SHAVE YOUR BACK......HA HA !!!! |

Today, I'm smooth from my nose to toes via an epilator, except face and scrotum, on which I used my mach3 razor.

Chic,
I am sorry you had a bad experience with the epilator. I don't remember having a problem when I started using it on my scrotum except the first time, I did not take the guide off and it grabbed a bunch of skin. That was scary, but the epilator stopped before it hurt me. Stay smooth.

Well, now it doesn't work for me either. I'll have to try a different approach than the Yahoo one next time.
Anyway, it was a wav file of the old Johnny Weissmuller Tarzan yell. The element of surpise is gone now, but try again. I think I have it working in both posts now.

I'm curious, so let us know if you try to post it again. In any event, from personal experience, don't use an epilator on your scrotum.

Bummer! I think it's funny. I don't get it. It worked for me. Maybe try again later. I've had it where a picture doesn't show up sometimes. I'm going to be bummed out if it doesn't work. Just telling you what it is will spoil the effect.

Tried the Braun today on my scrotum. Stretched skin tightly as you recommended, but still got bleeding from abrasions caused by the epilator. As I said earlier, I've tried it a number of times without success. I'm back to my trusty Gillette Mach3.

Hi Chic,
I do use it on my scrotum with great results. The trick is to get the skin pulled tight and as flat as possible. Run the epilator without the detachable guide lightly over the skin. |

I'm talking about experience. I've tried it a number of times on my scrotum with different techniques. Results were not good. To summerize, I use the Braun everywhere except on my scrotum.
