Posted - 01/15/2009 : 09:17:18 AM I am new to nudism, at least outside my own home. I have a question for everyone. I like to be nude and as God made us, but I have an issue being around others when I'm nude. I always get an erection when someone sees me nude so I have never been to a nudist resort. I'm being totally serious, and I hope you don't think I'm being perverted. My question is, is that normal? Do any guys ever get one while they are nudist place? Should I not go to a place because of it? When I am home alone, it is not a problem. |

Posted - 02/05/2009 : 6:54:15 PM You know it seems to me that there are "members" who feel as if they are owners and not simple members of these forums. I consider myself to be a fairly new guy on the block since joining last November 2008 . More than once I have sensed a mean spirted volley of comments . It just strikes me as odd . I'm here for online friendship and to share a cool story or two whenever possible . Let's lighten up and try to help whenever we can . As the great American hero Rodney King said " why can't we all just get along ". |

Posted - 02/04/2009 : 12:43:15 AM This is a very unusual thread. I didn't know we talked about erections. I also have some great beachfront property to sell you in Nebraska. LOL
Maybe we need a topic writ large that covers every angle of an erection. Oops, maybe we do, but I'm not too inclined with reading about erections. Not that I don't ever get one, but it's just that something I don't need to read up on, as I'm not about to have my first erection; I've been there before.
Still, we have to be forgiving of a newbie who is here for the first time, and doesn't know most of what is in the forum, and this forum is considerable in its scope. I know that I was lost in the forums the first few times. It's that big of a forum, with so many contributors.

Posted - 02/03/2009 : 11:27:26 AM Yes I used to get both full and semi erections, a lady in her 60's told me when she could see that I was embarrassed and trying to hind an erection to stand up, dont hind it and walk around, within 60 seconds it had gone and I was never troubled with a public erection again, as she said to me "Get it out of your system". |

Posted - 01/17/2009 : 09:15:36 AM Just an observation here...I won't go into much depth, since doing so would make ME a "troll." But it seems to me that most of the responses to the original question, were stated in a rather trollish way--by the definition given on the "Trolls" link. Verbal abuse? Looked like it to me.

Posted - 01/16/2009 : 09:42:29 AM Back to the original question. If you are new to nudism and never been to a resort, how do you know that you get an erection if someone sees you naked? What is going on when you are in that situation? I highly suspect that this is something you are worrying about in your mind. Imagine if you were at a family reunion. You show up nude in front of aunts, uncles, grandparents, parents, sisters, brothers. For one thing your nerves are going to be shot the first time. My guess is that you could not get an erection if you tried. All guys worry about this before they give a nudist resort a try for the first time, myself included. So go ahead and venture out and give it a try when the weather gets warmer. Please post your experience after the trip and let us know if your worry was in fact unwarranted...

Posted - 01/15/2009 : 2:28:31 PM OK, I take back my troll comment. A real troll wouldn't have any kind of conversation that makes sense. But really, the topic sounded pretty trollish.

It might help. As it is the Men's/Women's Issues topics are quite a ways down the list. I don't know if first timers are willing to scroll down that far. They see General Discussion and go for it.
Thinking . . . What if all the Erection questions were made a subcategory of the FAQ, then the FAQ was relocated to just under Testing? As it is, even the FAQ kinda blends in with everything else.
For myself and I suspect many others it will not make much of a difference. 99% of the time I come here I go directly to the Active Topics list. |

We all just heave a collective groan whenever another erection thread is started. Then I have to consider deleting the thread, or adding it to our unsavory little collection of erection threads, all the same topic, all day long.
Thanks for putting your mind to the problem. I'll be considering your suggestion.
Oh, that makes sense then, if you move them to that folder. I just know what I did trying to find, and if it was right there that would have helped me, anyway. |

Many of our members have made less than graceful entrances into our online community. If you stick around, you'll see from time to time a new guy that comes in with his first question about unwanted erections. This tees off our members, who time after time have to deal with the new guy who hasn't read and looked for his answer first. It happens many times a year. Most often this type of entrance turns out to be a troll.
Anyway, I'm sure you have other things to contribute. This is just how we deal with anyone suspected of posting questions just to stir things up. Read about Trolls, and Erections. We maintain a spirit of camaraderie here above all, and any in your face statements are reason for removal. You'll have to admit, the members are being gentle with you, just in case you're legit.
If it happens that much, you should put one of the erections thread right under the general discussions folder and tag it (or whatever it's called when it always stays at the top).
I found the folder on the subject, under male point of view (or something like that). As I'm reading through it, I see post after post about how people are tired of talking about it. My question to them is, why are you to the erection folder in the first place? If you are tired of discussing it, then don't read it.
Thanks for the last to comments. |
