im about 4.5-5.5 inches when non errect. is that small. i feel like i dont have that much confidence naked infront of nudist women on the beach.
do i have any problems here. thanks im 18 by the way |

Yes, the whole point of nudism is to NOT worry about this stuff. Everyone is different, just enjoy it and leave the worrying for another time.

OMG, this sounds as bad as worrying about what people are wearing in the clothing world. We all came into this world naked, and we will all leave the same way. How boring it would be if everybody looked identical where we couldn't tell anyone apart or everyone had the same personality, or sounded/talked the same way. No two of anything in the whole universe is the same so what difference does it make about different size except for personal preference when being attracted to someone else may be of concern. Even that isn't the whole reason people mate! |

Don't sweat the size, shape, color or condition of your body or any part thereof. Thats the thing about this. Its about accepting yourself and accepting others as we all are. You are who and what you are. We are who and what we are. Plain and simple. If you want to get in better shape, grow your hair long, get a tatoo or piercing, do it. But, do it for you, not us.
The sadest part of being a nudist is putting clothes on to enter the textile world. |

I was nervous the first time I went also, I was concerned about the size. But after a while, I was relaxed enough, and carried quite the conversation about the local collegiate rivalries. Just relax and enjoy. |

Why bother measuring anyway? Nobody talks about how long their arms are or their nose is 2 " or whatever. At a nude beach it's just skin and muscle. You sound like a troll! |

Hmm, equipped with a 4.5" to 5.5" inch flaccid your prediction sounds dire and ominous. You may very well find yourself in the presence of sleek supermodel-like nudist women who could gaze upon it with an air of indifference, bordering on condescension. Stay away from the nude beach lest you hear phrases like, "well my last boyfriend was at least twice that size."

I'm with NudeNate. For many men it shrinks a lot when blood is diverted elsewhere while doing exercise such as walking, running, swimming, etc. Especially among some white Europeans who's ancestors adapted to colder latitudes it also tends to retract almost completely in cool weather or when exercising. It comes back out when stimulated by female attention, and cannot be controlled by conscious thought. Worrying about it is a waste of time. Have fun naked and let nature take care of nature. |

If you run a few miles, it starts to invert. I've never used a ruler to see how far in it goes but it always comes back out and my wife never complains when it reaches it's full size. Moral of the story is: quit looking at it and go enjoy yourself. |

I was worried about my size as a teen until I finally went to a nude beach and saw that I was pretty much comparible to everyone else in the nude. As a teen I was afraid I would get nude and my 5in was going to be small against everyone elses 9in which is what most teens think is normal from watching porn. But once I saw my penis was a good size in relation to most of the others I saw I felt much better. |

hey Michael, sounds like you've seen alot. You're right, people are just curious and look and maybe make crazy comments. I think when we see any young person with a nice body whether male or female, we just love and appreciate what the human body expresses. we all admire the human body basically and see ourselves that way. enjoy life and enjoy nature!!!!!! |

Hey, maybe you guys haven't really been to a nude beach. When I first came out to nudism it was at the Gruenewald See in West Berlin. Talk about captivating sights. Twice as many old people as you will see on a stateside beach, war veterans with limbs missing, lot's of fat people, lot's of boney people and very few aestetically pleasing types. You do see the differences in body types sizes etc. but it doesn't matter to you because that is not what you are there for! Unfortunately I don't get to go to the nude places as often as I would like, but whenever I can be naked I am, whether it is at home, cruising down the interstate, at a party of at the beach, I am nude because I like being nude, not to check out everyone else. Hopefully tht is the case with most of the rest of you.

I am just under six inches erect and when not my penis shrinks up mostly inside of me. I also was just ask why I was never circumcised. I thought I had been but nures who was inserting a Foley Cath at the time said I was not. She siad she had seen a lot of mens tools while inserting a cath befer they had Cardiac Caths put in groins and during LOL

What some guys can become obsessed with is conversely not even considered by most everyone else. It's a private war in a man's mind that no one else is even aware of. That's the key to this situation, nobody that matters even has a reason to think that anyone else is too small.
To heal oneself of this worry, you might ask yourself -- how many people at a nudist resort have ever not wanted to talk with you because of your size? Let me guess the number. Is it a whole number less than one? Am I correct? Good.
Of course, you're at the age of heightened sexual hormones, and you haven't had the years in you to put things into proper proportion.
When adult life sets in for good, the last thing you'll worry about is your penis size. Since young men go into the military often enough, you won't have the time or inclination to think about your penis size in basic training. While you may not want to join the military, it does point out that if we are not busy enough, our mind does look for things to think about. When I was your age, I was so filled with sexual curiosity, but never thought about the little guy downstairs as to whether it was big or small. It functioned well, and that's all I worried about.
Don't take yourself too seriously, but do take your education seriously, as well as your future. Your penis will take care of itself.
