Posted - 07/19/2006 : 11:27:45 AM While at the resort I recently visited, I used the fitness center a few times and discovered the joy of using a treadmill in the nude. I have purchased a treadmill for home and we will be canceling our gym membership which we have hardly ever used in the last year.
Anyone else like exercising in the nude? |

Posted - 03/30/2012 : 07:58:24 AM Everyday! Do my time on the elliptical, then some barbell curls, and some squats. Much better than sweaty clothing.

Posted - 03/09/2012 : 5:19:49 PM ok, I am taking exception to the 'out in public' statements. I personally have done many things 'out in public' when nude. Warmskin referred to 'general' public, which I take as outside nude friendly public. Bare-to-the-breakers, Burningman, WNBR and list goes on for circumstances where it is ok to be nude. I would exercise a lot more if my attire preferences were appropriate at the many hotels I visit during business travels. But, alas, there is a time and place for (just about)anything. Posted - 03/09/2012 : 08:02:57 AM I agree Warmskin. If it can be done clothed, it can be done nude...except when out in public. Some forms of exercise I would not do in the nude (because I really hate the cold), but have heard that people have done, would be snow skiing, snowshoeing, etc... Although, on a mild day, I would attempt snowshoeing. Less chance of falling in the snow. |

Posted - 03/09/2012 : 01:07:50 AM Was there any other way to exercise, other than nude? Can't think of any one particular exercise that requires clothing, except out in the general public, e.g., jogging.

Posted - 03/06/2012 : 12:10:18 PM I would think nude exercising is wanted being how much more motivation do people who need to lose weight than being on a treadmill while seeing a very fit, thin woman on a cycling machine, it would make everyone become more aware of how they look nude and workout even harder :) |

Posted - 12/27/2011 : 11:11:08 AM Wow...almost two years to the day since I last posted. Since that time I actually had the chance to do a couple hikes at a couple of different resorts I went to this past year. They were not long hikes, but it was great to be out on a trail in the woods. I've can also add exercising on on eliptical as well. Still hope to do some longer hikes and of course the 5K. |

Posted - 12/30/2009 : 1:04:03 PM I've been exercising in the nude (at home) for years...treadmill, free weights, push ups, sit ups etc... Would love to try nude hiking or 5K someday. I'll have to check some more forums, web sites etc...to see where and when. |

Posted - 09/17/2009 : 08:26:02 AM I was talking with my uncle the otherday and opened up about my naturist lifestyle. I was surprized that he was so accepting of it, and not being degrading etc. He's a pretty obnoxious type of guy, so this really surprized me that he even talked to me about my shaving habits. Maybe he's been thinking towards this lifestyle and is loosening up a bit. Well anyway, I told him that I really need a place that I can go to be free in the woods. Hike, break a sweat and or just sunbath undisturbed by the outstide world so to speak. He was quite positive about the whole idea, and said, just make sure that those busy body neighbores of mine can't see you from the gravel road, and your free to do what you want back there on all 200 acres.
To say that I'm excited about this, is an understantment.

Posted - 09/17/2009 : 01:34:10 AM I've been hiking nude this summer. It is great to head to the mountains and strip down and head out on the trail nude. One great hike is to a hot spring. It takes 45 minutes to hike in and the soaking is great. Most of the time I hike in nude and definately soak nude. I do carry a quick cover-up for the trail just in case I come across a family with young kids or teenagers.

Posted - 08/21/2009 : 12:30:12 PM To those in the northwest I'd recommend running the beach on Sauvie Island (Oreon). Just along the waterline of the Columbia River the sand is soft yet firm enough to support a bare foot. And the beach is about a mile long. Altogether another definition for "Cool Running".
I have also participated in nude yoga. I am still uncertain if the lack of clothing assisted in either the enjoyment of the undertaking or in the execution of the various positions? Or maybe I just need some evening classes on why I am doing such for exercise? |
