These nudist resorts cater to an adult clientele, with a more sensual or romantic atmosphere in the evening. Therefore, some of these destinations may NOT be suitable for children.

Are there any nudist resorts or location in Missouri?

Since you are a "single" male, added to the question you're asking you might want to add one that welcomes single/unaccompanied males on an equal gender basis. Nudity is welcome at THE GRAND BARN and it's a short hour west of Montreal and definitely single/unaccompanied males have always felt welcome. As long as you don't demand that we provide women for you..;-) Same for our many friendly single/unaccompanied ladies that come our way... they know they are most welcome and it's never hard for them to find a single male at TGB..;-)

We are a new resort catering to an adult clientele. Check out areolasresort.com. Areolas is a clothing optional hot springs fed boutique resort for adult couples and women. Areolas is located 11.5 miles from Palm Springs International Airport in "Spa City USA", Desert Hot Springs.

Anyone can abuse anything. Most churches don't abuse, while some have and still do. I think religion overall has helped many people. I am not ashamed to show my faith in Christ.

It's not necessary. Your points, and you have some good ones, would be better accepted and taken to heart if you restrain yourself on this one little point, and address the issues, not the poster.

I've learned to watch for flaming in the forum, and that's pretty much where it starts.

My sincere apologies to the Admin and the forum members for my transgressions!!

Jim,

This is America, and I don't accept your attempts at censorship at all. My main purpose is to express my feelings here, as along as I don't violate forum rules. I don't think you have the authority prevent me from speaking my mind in this forum. Perhaps that is how they do things in Taxachusetts.

As I was saying, I do not judge the concept of free willed people doing what they want to do, as long as they don't steal from anyone, or hurt anyone. My religious convictions teach me that. If you have a problem with that, the solution is entirely yours, within yourself.

Maybe you have been watching too many Ted Kennedy videos. <gufaw>

Actually, I despise the late Senator, but that is off topic. Here in Massachusetts we have had one scandal after another related to religion. The officials of our biggest religious sect seem to like to have their sex with vulnerable youngsters, typically boys but sometimes with girls, and always with people that should be, by our social norms, off limits.

This puts most thinking people off religion. Of course you can use whatever symbolism you want, but use of symbols of religion labels people as idiots. If that is how you want me to view you, so be it. If my comments on this sounded to you like an attempt at censorship you misjudged me, but I apologize nevertheless.

Hi USVera,

You misunderstand me. I do not judge this resort, and I don't think anyone else should either. If you don't like it, don't go, if you do like it, go there. Simple, in my way of thinking. My source of not judging it is that I acknowledge God as being the judge, and not man. What that means is, let a person do as they will, as long as they don't harm anyone, or steal their belongings. In essence, I might be implicitly supporting this resort, by no opposing it. Let the marketplace deal with it.

With that in mind, I don't see any merit in your statements, US Vera. I wish I could say otherwise.

Just an update. Stephane has bought New Forest and has renamed it Bare Oaks. It is a nudist resort, and not clothing optional. :D For families, I'd recommend the Naturist Festival at Bare Oaks, along with any other time. Of the nudist resorts in Ontario, it has to be the most family-friendly park in the province.

Beautiful you are, Vera!
Love that picture of you.
Yes I remember these early humble beginnings with those unique Diablo Sun Devils with you at the helm, Vera.
10 years later, and it's really getting the attention it deserves, worldwide... you have always kept steady and with such a refreshing approach with being genuinely At Ease With Nudity.
Maybe one day (as I often wrote to you, Vera) I shall see you and as many of the members of The Diablo Sun Devils coming at THE GRAND BARN for a well deserved stay and make the most of it.
If one with a disability can make the trek from England it might prove even easier to come at THE GRAND BARN..;-)
Keep the good work, Beautiful!

Hello Peter... it is good to hear from you too and thanks for the compliments... can you believe it has been 10 years and we are introducing more women to the joys of naturism than ever before. In all those years we have never introduced one woman to the joys of naturism that didn't just love it and what we hear most is "I wish I would have tried this years ago"... no doubt you must hear the same kind of comments Peter.

We have members all over the world... one person with a disability comes here from England every few weeks and has found a whole new reason to live..!

We are so happy we have been able to help so many people Peter... so I suppse we will be doing this for a long time to come.

Warmskin, Thank you for your somewhat informed replies. We are personally not on the same page in life but mutual respect for others that are different is appreciated, understood, and reciprocated

When you get to a certain age, your thinking starts to transcend the limitations of a single concern. My replies are thusly informed. You are rightly concerned about your enterprise with regard to its profitability, as well you should be. I am more into universalisms, thus your perceptions are far different from mine. In due course, you will find this philosophic thinking unavoidable, in the decades to come. Sounds scary, doesn't it?

My friend Tony, it's obvious that all Peter are not thinking alike.
But it is to be understood that the negation to visit an obvious nice place as yours, or say THE GRAND BARN, because said individual would rely on few frustrated ones's alleged reports/reviews talking negative against our resorts... only one thing, they don't punish you, neither me, but only themselves and their endorsement of futile attacks directed either your way or my way is a mere distraction as compared to those who keep us going the way we do, Tony.
You'll survive them all, Tony. I've done so for the last 15 years and I can only say that, through the most hideous attacks, I've remained strong and at times have mentioned that even bad publicity allows those who think like us to side by us and realize that those who attack us are those who are usually a little more (or in some case much more) narrow-minded and do not have much going on in their lives.
Let's remain positive, here, and knowing all what you offer at your nice resort.... only those who do not share your open-mindedness and your more inclusive approach would deny themselves the opportunity to come and visit such a fine destination. Same for THE GRAND BARN. We cater to the best positive and friendly kind of people and we pride ourselves of the dynamic we get on our grounds from generating interest from those we're happy to see coming our way.
Keep the good work and don't let anyone get to you in any which way, Tony. Their loss, not yours and certainly those who've tried against myself have quickly found out that their benevolence in publicizing us was encouraged as negative as they tried to be..;-)
It fired back on them and it did increase our flow of positive visitors. The same for you and your fine destination... It's a beautiful place and meant to serve the genuine friendly ones...;- We definitely share that in common, my friend..;-)
