PLEASE HELP US!! Getting married and want to go to a nude resort but don't want to go to a clothing optional. We want to go all the way and be nude all the time.
What would be the best for us to check out.
Thanks!

Good deal!

I understand it's taken a while for your wife to warm up to the idea of nudity at a nudist resort; so kudos to her for joining you!

My wife and I just got back from LOTW. She's been on board with full nudity for a while now, so no surprises there: after we checked in she got naked right away, and we both stayed nude from morning until dusk. As usual most everyone else was naked too in and out of the pool area. Just an ordinary day at LOTW.
The unfortunate part is that "nudist season" is coming to a close here in the Midwest. So today was also a bit bittersweet.

Cypress Cove was everything I hoped it would be and more. A great place and I can't wait to return. I was nude 100% of the time, other than tennis shoes to play pickle ball. Wife wore a small wrap around her waist, but was topless everywhere, and nude around the pool.

Cypress Cove seems like a nice place. I loved Miami so another trip to FLA is not out of the question!

My wife and I will be making our first trip to Cypress Cove in a few weeks. I am anticipating that she will remain clothed most of the time. I on the other hand will be nude 100%, and won't care what anyone else is doing.

Correction to my previous post:
I was mistaken. LOTW is actually a "nude mandatory" resort. It wasn't until I went to the website FAQ that I saw it mentioned. I never realized it because I never heard or saw it "enforced." And I've been to C/O resorts where everyone was naked "everywhere and all the time"; so sometimes it actually makes very little difference. Obviously, I couldn't tell the difference either.

Either way, "unenforced nude mandatory" works out well for us. When my wife walks through the resort to the check-in, and sees that everyone is naked; she feels more confident and comfortable getting naked right away when we get back to the car. But then again she is at a "stage" where she is ok staying naked "the entire time and everywhere." She certainly did not feel that way at the beginning; and so she had to "work up to it." So it's obviously not the best option for reluctant spouses/shy first-timers.

But personally I love it.

One of the down sides of living in Alaska is the lack of nudist resorts! Guess I will have to be happy living on my own little 'resort' and a friend that is of the nudist mind set!

I am not saying you can't wear a wrap or something at certain times for certain reasons. What I am saying is we are not CO. So you have to be nude with us if you want come here.

On a side note and speaking of "nude greeting"; my wife and I just got back from LOTW. The resort is a co-op, and the people at the front desk rotate. Some women work the front desk in a sarong; others do it naked. The lady at the desk yesterday was one of the "naked ones."
When we arrived she recognized my wife and started chatting with her; and that "personal touch" is one of the reasons LOTW is my wife's favorite resort. The interaction made her immediately comfortable and put her in a "naked mood." Sometimes she will wait to get to "a good spot" to undress; but yesterday she opted to undress right away when we returned to the car, and walk to "our spot" naked.

To get back to the original topic; "nudity begets nudity." My wife and I were not the only ones who elected to be nude right away - and be nude everywhere on the resort. As other people arrived, interacted with the nude greeter, and saw that everyone else was also naked; they all stripped off pretty quickly. As a result, and even though the resort is technically C/O; 99% of the people there were nude. There was one small exception: one lady that was sitting next to us and would occasionally wear a shirt - clearly only for protection. When the sun started "hiding behind the trees", she also chose to stay nude.

LOTW is one of those resorts that is "technically C/O"; but in reality most attendees are naked "all the time everywhere." How much did the "naked lady behind the desk" have to do with the prevalence of nudity at the resort yesterday? It's hard to quantify or qualify. But "first impressions" will play a lot into how nude a resort is.

We are in Las Vegas. We are a 100% nudist place. Keep us in mind.

I went to WTP and liked it. Actually it was my first resort experience so I have fond memories.

But Cedar Creek really impressed me. I went there with a couple of friends who were members there. When we pulled up in the parking lot our friends disrobed and told us we needn't worry about checking in dressed. So we disrobed as well and followed them into the front office.

And we walked in and found that everyone in there was also nude - including the owners! The wife greeted us; we chatted while filling the paperwork, and I could tell my wife was very comfortable - even reassured - with the nude introduction/interaction; which was a huge plus.
We then walked out to the pool area; everyone we encountered that day, from the pool area to the residential area, was nude. We just had an awesome time there as everyone was really friendly; and the completely clothesfree experience just made it that much more awesome.

I heard Serendipity is an even more awesome place - from people who swear that it's just the best resort ever. But I was told by a friend that it's also C/O; and that the kids there often remained covered. It was mostly because I didn't want my daughter to be the only "nude kid on the block" that I never went. I just didn't want her to feel out of place or uncomfortable about her nudity.

But there you go; between all those options, you can't really lose!

If it wasn't listed here and I ran across it by accident I wouldn't have even thought it was a nudist park. White Tail site is very specific about nudity and Serendipity site indicates that nudity is required except for dinning and dancing. Thanks, blavan, for your contribution to this post. I now have three on my bucket list!

We have been to nudist resorts like White Tail Resort, Cedar Creek, Serendipity, Sunny Sands where everyone or nearly everyone was nude all the time. There are additional resorts where total nudity is also the norm. A few people might wear a sarong in cooler evening weather. What we have seen is that most people can hardly wait to shed their clothing once inside the gate, and whine about getting dressed when it is time to leave. It is our same procedure at home. Unless it is too cold to be comfortable we strip as soon as we get home as a matter of comfort. Hope you can find a nudist resort without having to travel 1500 miles. Most likely you can.

In my experience the "rustic" resort tends to be more pro-nudity.
As I mentioned in my previous post, I developed my "nude attitude" early into my resort-going days. At a rustic resort. When I found out that nudity was allowed everywhere on the resort grounds and beyond the front gate at BA, I naturally just opted to leave all my clothes in the car in the parking lot. I wasn't trying to be a show off or demonstrate "superior nudism"; I felt I was just being a practical nudist. I was lucky enough at the time to have a wife who felt the same way; so we always checked in the front office already nude - and stayed that way the entire day.
When we visited other resorts/clubs, we always carried that same attitude - sometimes even disrobing before checking in for the first time (if it was allowed). No reason to be covered at any point - weather permitting.

I try not to pass judgment on the covered if I don't know why they are covered. Me...I'm just gonna be naked regardless. Hopefully, in some small way, I can pass my "nude attitude" on to someone else.

Jenn,

Aside from our trip to Club Orient, we're new to nude resorts. We truly enjoyed the 24/7 nude attitude at CO and have been searching for the true nudist resort online. Other than White Tail in VA, all resorts have some exception for dining, dancing or special events. I like the example you're setting and hope to follow in your footsteps.

All you can do is just set an example yourself at any given resort. Our family is completely nude all the time whatever resort we are at. During the day, at night, all the time. No wraps, t shirts , or the like. After a lifetime of attending many different nudist resorts it still BOGGLES MY MIND ..how many people are in some state of dress! There are however different resorts that tend to skew more towards people who like to "actually be naked" vs. the weird "half dressed, semi-nudist crowd" Depends where you are looking. US or other?
