PLEASE HELP US!! Getting married and want to go to a nude resort but don't want to go to a clothing optional. We want to go all the way and be nude all the time. What would be the best for us to check out. Thanks!

First, congratulations on your upcoming wedding. When is it and how far do you want to go? Do you want a destination wedding or is this for your honeymoon?

If travel is an option, I would recommend Club Orient, St. Martin. Even though it is technically clothing optional, 90% of the people are nude, and the remaining 10% are women with bottoms on. More importantly, it is warm enough to be nude anytime of the day or night. On site restaurant, so dining in the nude is an option as well.

Thanks for the post I'm new at this and didn't think I would get any help. Sorry but we have been a little busy lately she is a paramedic for the last 16 years and I'm a firefighter/captain for 25 years. And our schedule has been crazy lately. We are now looking at getting married sometime in the next 12 months and going to go on a honeymoon sometime once she gets out of nursing school. Witch she won't be finished with for at least a year from January. We like to be naked all the time when kids aren't home and almost naked when they are. We have talked about this for a while now and that's the way we want to spend our honeymoon neither of us has done this before I have always wanted to but never had the chance to. We think after doing it one time it may become something that we will want to continue. When we started talking about it and researching it we both fill that if we are going to do it we want to go somewhere that you can be naked all the time not just have certain places to be naked and we want it to be on a beach resort somewhere. And we would like it to be an all inclusive resort. We both just want to experience being naked in a public like place and not have to hide it and be around others that are the same. Thanks for the help.

Forgot to put the wedding date and where we live. We live in Texas and the date of the wedding is going to be October the 11 2014. Because of finishing up her nursing the honeymoon will be sometime after that.

Club Orient isn't "all inclusive." It happens to be our favorite beach resort and would recommend it to anyone but ... not all inclusive.
Hidden Beach is all inclusive and is also technically clothing optional but from what I've heard and read, mostly nude.
Lots of awesome places to eat on St. Martin/Sint Maarten, especially in Grand Case. You'll love Club Orient even though it's not entirely what you're looking for.
Congrats and have a great time.

Capt, so what I'm reading from you is your looking for a place you can go nude anywhere and not worry about getting dressed. Sounds to me, all nude or clothing optional would work just fine.
An all nude resort says you must be nude anytime your away from your room, and a clothing optional resort says you can be nude or clothed anywhere at your option, but most will require nudity at the pool and hot tub areas. The only difference is at an optional resort you will run into some of the guests that are clothed, and at an all nude resort you will run into some of the staff that are clothed.
When you are looking for a nudist resort keep in mind some will require you to cover up for dinning, so check those details first thing. Also some places have an anything goes policy so you may want to steer clear of those places.
You will not find a nude beach resort in the US, so it will have to be international somewhere and the two places Fire told you about are really nice ones.
If you find something let us know and we should be able to find someone who has been there to give you some tips.
Congrats on the up coming wedding and welcome to the site, it sounds like a great honeymoon already, I wish we had done the same.

True; and I do have a question about these caribbean resorts (since I've never been.) I get the impression from what I've read that they're usually C/O; and not only that but nudity is allowed only in some areas. For example only specific spots on the beach or specific areas of the resort; and dinner/evening events are actually clothed only.
For someone looking for a "completely nude all the time" environment, wouldn't that be a tad disappointing?
I've chatted online with some French nudists that the best "everyone nude all the time" resorts are actually in Eastern Europe (Croatia, the Czech Rep and even Hungary. Perhaps it would be Worth it to dish out some extra cash and make it a European honeymoon?
But like I said; I don't know the real deal on international locations. Just going by hearsay.

Nudony,
With regards to Club Orient; it is technically a clothing optional beach resort but ... I would say that 90+ percent of the guests are nude and the other 9% have on a pareo/sarong, a sun cover up and it's only for a short while and there is that 1% that you'll see clothed but most times, they are either coming or going off the resort.
This member will NOT be disappointed with Club Orient with regards to being able to be naked anywhere and everywhere on the property. The beach bar, The Perch, and the restaurant Papagayo, the store L'Orientique and the front office ... you'll seem more nudity than not.
A few guests will dress for dinner and the nightly entertainment but they will definitely be in the minority. That's one of the best things about Club Orient. It is clothing optional but almost all the guests opt for NO Clothing!
Now ... with all that said ... I have to admit that we have only visited in the summer. It's hot, sometimes humid and putting on anything is the last thing you want to do.

ok Hidden Beach is the place to go you can check in and be stripping down at the same time and stay that way till you check out as you're dressing (bummer) if you want to dress for dinner or any meal you can but most do not IT IS NOT REQUIRED! most of the dress for dinner is a sheer, very sher wrap for the women. just enough to be very sexy! men usually dont dress, just carry towels. this is all-inclusive
now if you want rustic in the jungle and very small try Paya Bay Honduras this place is laid back, no night life, at the end of the island, too far to go clubbing so its wonderful for us love it but don't expect any frills, small beach is nude during naturist weeks

I'm a newbie to this forum but not to Naturism and thought I might be able to help here.
October is Hurricane season in the Caribbean but we have been there a number of times in September and October with no issues have have throughly enjoyed it. Unfortunately some of the resorts shutdown for a period around then. I believe Club Orient is one that shuts down but I am not sure as I have not been there. One that we love but did shutdown this year is N Resort in Falmouth, Jamaica.
We absolutely love N Resort. It is quiet, not fancy marble etc. but they go out of their way to take care of you. Last time we were there I did not put on a stitch of clothing for four solid days and then only a t-shirt for a theme dinner. The reviews on tripadvisor.com will paint a very good picture.com Their web site is n-resort.com
Others mention Hidden Beach. I have not been there but have talked to a number of others that have and they've enjoyed it. It's on my list of places to go.

Club O does not shut down during hurricane season. In fact, you can get some pretty good deals on rental units there during those times because the weather is "questionable."
We have close friends that have visited Club O twice during that period of time in the year and though they had a few days of rain, off and on, it was decent weather for them.
Club O has shut down, sort of, during this time, twice. Both times, that we know of, the resort was going through some renovations and since it's a little quieter during that time of year, they picked those two times to do those renovations but they do not shut down every year during hurricane season.

I can't argue with any of the choices presented here. We've been to Club O twice in Oct/Nov. Yes that's hurricane season, but the odds of you and a hurricane arriving at St Martin at the same time are actually pretty low. Hidden Beach has a crappy beach but great pools, bars, and food. Club O and Hidden Beach are not cheap, but how many times are you going to have a nude honeymoon? Paya Bay is terrific and has 'nude weeks', but even then people tended to wear something (not much) to dinner. It has the advantage of world-class nude snorkeling trips included. One other place to consider is Playa Sonrisa. It's a wonderful isolated place 5 or 6 hours south of Cancun. Great beach and water, nice people (Cindy & Murph) running the place. It's a pain in the ass to get to, but there are no distractions - a good thing when you're on your honeymoon!

We're at the other end of the life spectrum. We've been married almost 44 years and in January we went to Club Orient for the first time. We spent a nude week there and it was the best vacation we've ever had. We got naked as soon as we checked into our room and only dressed twice, once for a food trip and once to explore the non-nude section of Orient Beach. (Not worth the trip.) The beach is perfect. Waves gently roll in so you don't have to worry about being knocked over. Water is warm no matter the time of year. It was windy, but that made the sun less of a problem. The restaurant is at the far end of the beach and dining nude at lunch or dinner is up to you. At lunch, most diners are nude. At dinner guys are nude, some ladies start with a coverup, but it usually comes off before they leave. (The boutique has a nice selection of semi-sheer wraps for ladies. My wife picked out a sexy wrap about 12 inches wide that she wore to dinner a couple nights.) Four nights a week after dinner there is entertainment with dancing. Once the music starts most guests lose whatever clothing they were wearing, my wife leaving her wrap on her chair. We liked walking through the resort nude. If you're like us (and it sounds like you are) being nude in public is more thrilling than seeing others nude. We did this several times a day, starting early morning when we visited the boutique for the complimentary coffees. We passed the same nude walkers day after day and all were younger than us. After dinner at the restaurant we walked nude through the entire resort on the paths and through the common areas between the units. Not sure about your age, but you will be comfortable with nudity at Club O no matter how old you are. Everyone is friendly, much more so than what we've experience at major time share resorts where clothing is required. When the clothes come off, friendliness seems to increase. Hope you try Club O for your honeymoon, but if you don't, hope you do in the future.

I've answered this question on another thread but we know of two clothing optional places where I can easily say without hesitation that even though "clothing optional" ... the percentage of people visiting and staying is almost 100% nude.
Club Orient, St. Martin/Sint Maarten, FWI
Terra Cotta Inn, Palms Springs, CA
