I checked Guinness World Records web site, and they Have Skinney Dipping Record at 13,674 on July 7 2008 in the US, it was 2009 and it should read North America ,Canadian Resorts were in the count and no mention of the 2010 event and its total 14,110,
May b the book might have its facts correct which they stress all through process of obtaining A Prestigious Guinness World Record the AANR and the CANR helped attain those totals and should have recognition i think

Thanks go n nude! Canada never gets mentioned for anything. My wife is Canadian and she wonders why the only thing you hear about Canada is the "Island of Quebec". I might add the the longest snipper shot in history was made by a Canadian in Afganistan. Hurrah for the Maple leaf!!!!!

The Guiness Record was for all of North America and even though "North America" covers 23 sovereign states and dependent territories according to Wikipedia, of which the US and Canada are probably the largest. It was probably easier to just say North America rather than identify all on the list. I'm sure that most of the ones on the list participated and submitted numbers. free2be we can agree North America would be correct, but they didnot have that listed, the Year and numbers are off, what AANR announced as official total particpation ,all the time and trouble to attain a record,

Where is this "Canada?" Kidding. We met a bunch of Canadian in St. Martin one year, and at one point I said, "You know, I think I like Canadians better than Americans (we are Americans)."

I got an error on the page for the results of the 2010 skinny dip. Maybe they are updating the site to correct their error. go n nude -- did you send them an e-mail telling them?
