Thanks for the info nudesunguy. Must have missed this reply back in Dec. somehow. Since that time however, we have decided that we will not be able to make the wedding...so...no Haulover in the near future. Still hope to get there someday.

Hope someone here can help me. I'm going to be in the area during March and I'm going to try to visit Haulover beach for one day of my trip if I get one day off. It's going to be around the time of spring break and I know that almost all spring breakers probably go to south beach but how crowded or busy does it get during spring break, hows it been in the past? I only ask because if it does get somewhat busy, I want to plan ahead, such as getting there early then leaving early. Is there a sudden increase in crowds during spring break then a drop after it. I imagine it doesn't get as busy as the summer times but at the same time I'm not really familiar with this beach and appreciate any help.

Hi lils,
My wife and I were there last March, I'm not sure if it was one of the spring break weeks, but Haulover is far enough north (and away) from the main South Beach that it wasn't a problem. Although we saw a few 20 and 30 year olds, Haulover tends to attract an older crowd and the beach itself is HUGE, so you should be fine.
Parking could be an issue, I'd definitely recommend you come early and stay late (you will want to). Bring food, drinks, and sunblock so you don't have to waste time walking to the (fairly) nearby places that sell such things (although there may be a vendor on the beach when you go). There's also a guy who rents umbrella and chairs if you can't bring your own.
Have fun; report back here and let us know how your trip went!

We go to Haulover beach at least once a week as we live in the area. The beach is an excellent place to be nude. The people are generally friendly or keep to themselves, there is a Miami-Dade park person who patrols the area Friday-Monday and will remove people who are breaking the rules (which are pretty limited, like no glass bottles, no inappropriate activity, etc). Bathrooms are nearby, there is a food trailer that gets there around 11:30. The food is a bit expensive but they are the only place on the beach. As an example, a large 1/2 lb hamburger is $9. Parking has never been a problem, except once on Memorial Day weekend when we got there around noon and we had to park in a lot south of the nude beach and walk 15 minutes to get to our regular spot.
There are kids as young as infants and others who look to be 90 and everything in between. There are occasional swingers we run into but everyone is friendly and we've never felt uncomfortable. Lots of tourists are there, especially in the winter.
We love Haulover - it's a great place to be nude!

Is it warm enough in Miami yet? It's been pleasantly mild in Palm Beach, but too cold to invade Hobe Sound.
Unless you like a chill….

Looking for RV park near Haulover for overnight parking. Any suggestions. I would assume day parking at Haulover is ok.

Wow! Lot of old posts to this topic. I've been to Haul Over twice in the past 3 years. The first time the beach was perfect!! It was well groomed way out into the water. No stones, all sand. A year ago, much of the sand was washed out, so the bottom was a little rocky. Small stones anyway. Overall, still a great beach! If you look it on Google Earth, you see lots of people in the CO section and the textile parts nearly empty. If you're in south Florida, go there. They say there's a parking charge, but no one has ever been at the booth when I went, so it can be free.

Mrs. Landlord and I were at Haulover for 3 hours on December 24. It was only our second time there, first time was several years ago. Had a great time, there were lots of friendly people and a ray swam in close to shore to entertain everyone for about 20 minutes.
