I was circumcized just after birth. I was delivered by a Jewish doctor as well. Don't know if that had any bearing or not. Like most men no problem with sensativity etc. But the arguement is there about circumcising or not. Mainly it has been the arguement on both sides about bacteria etc. So in most of the USA it has been more custom than anything. After all is said and done curcumcision should be up the male as he grows older..There is even a movement of sorts about restoring the foreskin.I was slightly sedated with alcohol and sugar..but my son wasn't and he screamed bloody murder. Really felt bad about it...
As to female circumcision. At last some in this world are looking out for women. The act of female circumcision is barbaric at best.

I wasn't circumcized, but has what Cinderela called "lipstick effect", so the foreskin doesn't affect me at all. I do think circumcision make the pennis look better, but I didn't have my son do it, unless this is a medical need later in his life, or if he prefers it when he grows up. Because look really doesn't matter.

Good term!
Exists an abundance of medical proofs that operation lessens the sensual perceptivity (i.e. groove) proportionally to loss of nerve endings (=square of lost skin) what may happens even near a 90% while judaic religion type (lipstick method) losses are only 30-50%. That I have read and cant decline while some of You says its true, some says no.
My oldest son has born with small inborn problem - forked forskin (his mother was on field with him in womb under heavy rain when Chernobil exploded day ago 1500 km afar along the actual wind direction, and "dear communist party" had no warning about it at all or a health effects; so Grand News we then heard from "damn rotten capitalist" radios heavily fuzzed off by "kind service of sovietic radio-disturbing stations", but it was too late); so doctors concilium choose at the age of 18 to cut prepuce off and not to try to sew halves together. So son was circumsized and me as father never had been asked agree I or not. Anyhow he reports no lessen of senses still, we had discussed this topic some times. He is married and have 22 old now.
Meanwhile my prepuce is somehow longer as normal and lipstick effect works great when it rolls inward, that happens about authomatically for end is narrower and start process of rolling, so if I not will stretch it back after toilet it stays most of time visually the same as cut. And I am very happy to have the same as cut guys (and quite nice) feeling of touching it sometimes a pants and no loss of nerve endings. Never I had imagine something about rubbing to textile be uncomfortable except the genarally all textile are not comfortable by my belief and motivation to nudism, especially when Sun is gone and then nudism is not to do with Sunbathing.
This year all nice time is gone - todays rain is pouring from early morning to evening late without of interruption, cold and freezy. Bue-bue the Summer.

well, im cut also and to me it just looks natural to be cut ... besides it was done when i was a baby and there's no discomfort now that im 31. if a man chooses to do it when hes older than yah ouch. there are some countries that do do females but that's supposedly so the females dont have any good sensations and their sole purpose is to create babies. i of course think its wrong for a female to get cut but if its tradition and religion who really has a say.

guycass, welcome to this board. You might want to read the other pages of input on this topic. Female circumcision has been mentioned along with the facts that it is mutilation, preventing the woman from any sensation. It is now against the law in those countries in which it was practiced.

Every baby that is circumcised never remembers that event. Only that they are or are not.
I was not circumcised at birth because my dad wasnt. I am normal california guy. But after hearing the feedback from other girls who would never tell me but only talk, and the rejection of some others I had myself circumcised at 20. Mainly cuz at this AANR teen event several years ago in Florida, they took the survey of 100 questions ask to both the guys and the girls, 210 of us total. and 80% of the girls said they though uncircumcised men's penis' were less attractive and actually turned them off for oral sex, and in some cases, the odor, blah blah blah. That was enough for me. So I did it. And I am very happy today. I have not ever had a weird expression during some sexual situation with a girl. But that was along time ago. I dont give it much thought today.

First off, welcome to the board! You have some great insights and opinions to share, as evidenced by the posts you've made.
Regarding circumcision, I think this is totally a family/ personal decision. Many men decide to circumcise for religious or health reasons. As nudists, we should be open and accepting of all people- circumcised or not. As a woman, I don't think I'll care one way or the other whether my partner is circumsised. What I do care about is whether he is genuine, honest, loving, etc. And, of course, he'd best be a nudist if he's going to put up with me.

As a quick post-script of my last message, Jewish boys are typically circumsized on the 8th day as dictated by custom. My understanding is the medical doctors/ scientists have now discovered that the 8th day is the day in which we feel pain the least, so the baby really isn't in much pain. Interesting that it worked out that way, huh?

I have attended (Cheri forgive my spelling), a brist. This is the ceremony when the baby boy was circumsized by the Rabbi. The baby did not cry much at all, and stopped when his father held him. It didn't seem like it was that painful to the baby.

You have to be joking don't you? Cutting any part of the body is painful, regardless of either its the 8th day or 80th day. I would be interested to read the research that claims the 8th day is any less painful and what religion the researcher followed.
I personally am circumised by this was done at the time of birth and for non-reglious reasons.

I have also read that the eight day is less painful, sorry I for get where or why. Anyway there doesn't seem to be any ill effects. I knew a man that as an adult was circumsized before he was married, said the soreness only lasted a day or two.
I agree, circumcision is visually more appealing to me.
