One of SUN's aims is to promote an "everything in its proper place" attitude toward various forms of nudity. Whether you prefer a "couples-only" atmosphere, or a family-oriented resort to bring your kids, or perhaps a place with no kids and lots of quiet, you should be able to find a nudist destination to suit you. SUN supports each alternate lifestyle which is based on nudity having a place set apart for it away from the public.

To consider an example, a part of a public beach was set apart for dog owners, so that regular beachgoers could enjoy "dog-less" beaches elsewhere. There's no reason the same logic can't be applied for the nudist situation.

Our secluded nude hideaways need to be protected. There is another thread about this HERE. What we're working for is more beaches set aside for nudists, like Haulover Beach in Miami.

There is really nothing wrong with offering destinations for couples desiring privacy. It makes sense to separate lifestyles that don't co-exist well—such as families and romantic couples. Each should have its own place. We have Hedonism II in Jamaica for the daring nudist, and Lake Como Resort in Florida for the conservative nudist. We shouldn't have to travel to Jamaica to enjoy a sensual or romantic nudist experience. In a better world, there would be a variety of resorts catering to gay nudists, single nudists, or romantic couples, as well as family nudists with kids. It's when you try to mix these or eliminate one that you make people unhappy. This is our suggestion for the future of nudism, once the public is ready to accept it.

At Nudist-Resorts.Org we support the promotion of any nudist destination where behavior in common areas is restricted to non-sexual activities. We do not support businesses based even partly on profiting from sex or voyeurism.
